Pros: Lovely clean fresh bed. Nice Lounge & TV area.
Cons: Rooms are in need of renovation.
Noisy aircon due to age. Small out dated spa. Bathroom needs renovation.

Cosy place in Mount Gambier

The receptionist was friendly and helpful with our special request for an early morning check out due to our travel schedule. The property was just a little dated but it was nevertheless clean, cosy and well maintained. Individual parking lots were available in front of each unit. The small dining table for two in the room was nice for takeout meals. The bathroom was spacious with a bathtub and separate shower area. The hot water supply was good. An alarm clock was provided. Would have been even better if free wifi was available.

In need of a refurbishment

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Complete refurbishment needed. $140+ for a 70s decor is over the top.
We swathed here while passing through. Chose this motel because we like indoor pools but when we arrive and book in find it as a place from the 70s. Much of the furnishings appear to be original, not what would expect for a 4 star place. We found cut toe nails In the centre of the lounge floor which indicates that it hadn't been vacuumed since the last tenants. And the pool - found that it was closed due to repairs. I think under those circumstances management should inform travellers before being booked in and also should reduce the cost as they are not delivering what they advertise. Also funny how the reception and dining area viewed from reception is exquisite while the rooms are shabby at best.

Great overnight stop

Pros: large rooms, clean and great beds.
Stayed two nights as we took in some of the caves in the area. Enjoyed both nights as room was large, clean and comfortable. Nothing special very adequate.

Just a room with better than normal bedding,

Pros: enjoyed our two night stay. second was because of the room and manager
Cons: no complaints
We really enjoyed this motel. Felt that the bedding was superior to a normal motel of this class. Manager was fantastic and extremely helpful in suggesting where to stay on our forward journey and where to eat when we got there. Room was large and very clean. Stay here if in the vicinity.
