Pros: The space of the rooms.
Cons: The AC was a little loud. Consider installing wall splits? I believe that there is no insulation in the ceiling as I could hear the rain on the tin.
Location: We drove past blue lake which is beautiful even on a dreary / wet day.
We were on a business trip installing solar panels, and it was a great relief to know that we had comfortable beds to sleep in. I was a bit surprised that the breakfast room opened rather late, I usually eat breaky about 6.00am. Though saying that it was a pleasant stay, there was ample parking space and the staff were very helpful.

Good Hotel

Posted 12-May-2017
Pros: The large room and the comfy bed.
Cons: A new air conditioner/heater and double glazing on the windows that face the highway. Then it would be perfect !
Location: Out of town - so need transport to visit main shopping centre and tourist area's.
Had executive room with spa. Very large room, comfy bed. Very clean - but needed a bit of maintenance. Air conditioning/heater was very noisy. Room was facing the main highway which was very noisy with large semi's travelling past all night. I would stay here again but next time I would ask for a room at the back of the complex.

Although the room and facilities were very outdated, the room was very clean and tidy. We felt the photos used to advertise the room made it look more modern than is actually was. The room walls are also paper thin and you can hear every conversation to be had in adjoining rooms & other guests cars taking off early in the morning right outside our window. The young girl that organised late check in for us was very helpful, although one of the other staff members lost our 'registration form' & called us three times throughout the day to get us to go to reception to sign another one. When we called late Saturday evening one of the other staff members had found the form. We had paid for our acccomodation, so why not get us to sign another form at our earliest convenience or at check out rather than calling to chase us for it?

Nice hotel to stay when your in mount Gambier!

Posted 12-Jan-2017 on Wotif
I was impressed with the receptionist greet us with a fresh look and great smile. The room we have was great and clean. However the double size bed is too soft we having trouble to get deep sleep. Probably they need to do something on that. Plus the air conditioner they had in the room was outdated however it is still working good especially on that 40 degree hot day. Thank god lucky everything still in well condition. We really have a good time on this trip and stay overall. So this hotel is good choice when you there. Im happy. Thanks

Friendly staff, very clean

Posted 27-Nov-2016
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, value for money, toiletries provided
Cons: Update of the shower facilities
We stayed overnight in a family suite with a spa bath. The room, although quite outdated, was extremely clean and fresh. The staff member we spoke with was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this hotel to any families wishing to stay in an inexpensive spa suite.

Needs some Maintenance

Posted 20-Nov-2016 on Wotif
Pros: The Bathroom actually had a bath which was very nice. The Hotel Restaurant cooked up an excellent Chicken & Rosemary with Vegetables dish.
Cons: The Aircon was noisy - I could hear the AirCon from adjoining Room go on and off which was not conducive sleep. The front door lock needs replacing.
Location: Hotel is quite central. This was an overnight stay- Mt Gambier is a very interesting town to visit - The Blue Lake, Caves,Umpherstone Sinkhole Gardens
Outwardly the Motel presents as rather austere. It could do with a nice garden/greenery. The room I had lacked colour although it was functional. It could have done with a thorough spring clean.

Old and tired

Posted 15-Nov-2016 on Wotif
Pros: Fast check in and check out
Cons: Quality of room and air conditioning
Location: Don't eat at the blue lake tandoor restaurant. Worst meal ever. Blue lake was a highlight.
Old and ineffective heating and cooling. Cracks in wall. Noise from adjoining air conditioner.
