Old hotel needs renovation overpriced

Overpriced for what it is, Paid extra for the superior room, wouldn’t like to see a standard room

Ok, not flash!! further out of town

Pros: Great fluffy towels
Cons: Overalll upgrades needed
Location: Not alot to do in the Mount, Def visit Umpherston sinkhole, this was gorgeous - especially dusk/night for possum spotting..take fruit with you to feed
After looking at hotel online, the rooms looked reasonable. Our room was extremely spacious but was very tired looking once we were in there.. The carpet was in a pretty poor condition with some runs in it.. For what we paid I think we should have gotten better.. THEN the smoke (cigarettes) smell from either outside or the next room was horrible.. Only stayed overnight ..would not choose this one again...

Disappointing.

Pros: The rooms, bedding etc were clean. The evening meal was very good.
Cons: Decorate, the photos on the website must be very old!
Location: Blue Lake, Lady Nelson visitor centre and the penguins at Port Macdonnell. Penola.
Had booked an enabled room which was confirmed by telephone with receptionist. On arrival this room had another traveller staying. The initial impression of the building was very sad and dreary and dated. The room number 54 was very cold had to sleep with extra blankets on the bed. The bathroom never got warm as no way of heating this room. The traffic noise is horrendous in this room. The indoor swimming pool area needs decorating and is freezing. Guests are advised to remove the cover off the pool themselves before swimming. The sauna was out of order, we gave up trying at this point and returned to cold room. We had to ask for Wi-Fi passwords which is capped at 300mbps. The restaurant was freezing cold the diners ate dinner with their coats on, however the meal was delicious.

Large double room, friendly staff

Large rooms with spa in room and indoor heated pool & spa. Air con was loud and old but did the job. Pool is 1.5m deep with no shallow end but kids enjoyed playing in the warmer spa. Staff were friendly.

Worst hotel experience ever

Data allocation was only 300 MB!!! The Toilet stunk!! In the morning, before checking out, wanted to take a shower, the water was ice cold, called the reception, got told we can change your room if you want too. don't remember a hotel running out of hot water!!!!

Friendly staff, very clean room. Nice and quiet away from main road. Would recommend to everyone.

ok hotel for price

Pros: price good, very large family room.
Cons: remove fluoro lights.
the room we stayed in was large but getting a little old/tired. indoor pool was good. location ok, just out of town centre. staff were very friendly
