Il paese è la vera e propria capitale delle “Gole dell’Alcantara” infatti dista circa 3 km dal punto di accesso al fiume e si trova ad una ventina di km dalle principali capitali del turismo estivo della riviera ionica come Giardini Naxos e Taormina. La casa vacanze Belvedere prende il nome dallo splendido panorama sulla valle Alcantara e sulla maestosa Etna, da cui dista 35 km lato “versante nord” chiamato piano Provenzana. La struttura richiama al suo interno le caratteristiche tipiche del luogo, infatti viene ancora conservata intatta,una scala in pietra arenaria ed altri accenni di essa,distribuiti all’interno dell’immobile. La casa vacanze Belvedere offre un soggiorno all’insegna del relax e della tranquillità, accompagnato ove richiesto, da una ricca colazione a base di prodotti tipici locali e frutta di stagione provenienti dalla propria azienda di famiglia,questi ultimi infatti sono molto ambiti ed apprezzati da molti turisti e visitatori,soprattutto nei mesi di settembre ed ottobre, quando le vie del paese si riempiono in occasione della famosissima “Festa della Noce “ dalla quale appunto vengono ricavati dolci, salumi, formaggi, creme, pesto, liquore nocino ecc. La struttura è dotata di tutti i comfort, mettiamo a disposizione una spaziosa cucina con depuratore acqua potabile e balcone, 2 camere da letto di cui una con balcone e uno spazioso bagno completo di lavatrice.
