This is a very nice hotel. It's starting to be a little dated but still nice. It's a little walk to get to the embarcadero but not unmanageable. The inn has two floors and no elevator. The continental breakfast was fine, waffle maker, cereal, toaster, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee.

This is a very nice hotel overlooking the harbor in Morro Bay, it has been recently remodeled and modernized. The staff was extremely nice, but I will say, the room we stayed in was the smallest room I have ever been in. No closet, the wash basin was outside the bathroom and in the bedroom, no place to put the suitcases. But we made the best of it.
Immaculately clean, quiet motel with pleasant, efficient staff. All rooms open to interior hallways and elevator. Simply but attractively decorated with Audubon theam. Great location near shops, restaurants, waterfront.
Check in was fast . The room was great. Very clean and there is a fan in a cabinet , that's all we needed to stay cool.
The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had the best night sleep at the Blue Sail Inn compared to other hotels. The view we had was wonderful, of the ocean and rock. We even say seals close by.There is a patio with a small table and chair we had our morning coffee there. It is so relaxing and that's what we needed. The shopping is right there and there is a lot of restaurants around. Would defiantly will come back and stay there again. We had the best time and part of that was staying here.

We arrived at 10 PM and left at 7 AM, so very limited exposure. The man at the front desk was pleasant, the carpet on the stairs was filthy, everything else was OK. Breakfast room was large and the food was the standard unexciting but edible fare. I would recommend this place for the night if you are on a budget and traveling with kids otherwise you may want to spend a few more bucks for something with a little charm.
A Central California fishing village, Morro Bay was named for its famous landmark, Morro Rock, which was discovered by Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo in the 16th century. Home to birds, sea mammals, and fish, the community is an animal lover’s paradise with a mild climate year-round. Hearst Castle is 28 miles to the north.
