"House was extremely clean with comfy furniture and well stocked. Lester got back to me with answers to my questions right away. They even had local attractions and restaurant brochures to look at for making plans. The coffee, snacks and chocolate was a great treat!!! The location was great, close to town, and the trails. I couldn’t find the blow dryer that was listed. I didn’t pack mine because of the description, I was disappointed :(. A second bathroom would be great, but we made it work...

"Very convenient base to access all interesting spots in the Mackinac/St Ignace area. Restaurants, Grocery, kids’ park are within minutes. Very quiet for restful relaxation. A couple minor minuses; the oven would not heat up past 130, that made our home away from home cooking a bit interesting. A dishwasher would have been handy especially when staying with children. Overall, we all like the place and would book again."

"Great little stopover. Simple room, but ideal location for getting around in Mackinac City and to the ferry to go across to Mackinaw Island. Could leave our vehicle right at the VRBO and walk everywhere."

"We truly enjoyed this property! We stayed at the Bluff Beach Hutch. The home is huge, had a wonderful view of the water and a beach just a few steps away, with privacy! The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed plus more. The owners were fantastic! We would stay again in a heartbeat!"

"We rented for a snowmobiling long weekend for 3 couples, and the place was perfect for that purpose. The issues we had were very small and insignificant (e.g., no basket in the coffee maker). I very much recommend this place, particularly for snowmobiling."

"I booked this originally thinking it was a little cabin somewhere, I didn't think motel rooms would even be on VRBO. I was a bit disappointed when I realized, but we gave it a shot. The location was spectacular, loved being able to walk to all the shops and for coffee. The room, not great. The 2 beds were totally different, one was so springy/bouncy and the other was more stiff/supportive. The bathroom shower had some mold looking spots in the tub so we didn't use the shower. The back window...

"The house was a perfect spot for our first visit to the UP. The view is incredible, the house was clean and well stocked. The host was very responsive and welcoming. Our two couples throughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommended this property."

"We had the best time vacationing at this home! Everything felt like luxury from the bedding/blankets to the bath towels. From the rugs to the kitchen! We had everything we needed to cook our dinners for our family. My parents enjoyed the back yard and watching all the different birds. We all also enjoyed the air hockey table! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the UP!"
