"We had an amazing stay at Cathy and Andre’s beach house. The space was clean and well appointed, the yard gorgeous and enjoyably peaceful (the owners have a green thumb—evidenced by the amazing orchids inside. I’ve never seen such a beautiful orchid as the one on the dining table!) The hot tub is always a MUST when we do our writing retreats and this was nicely situated. We enjoyed the proximity to beach and town. Dinner at Shadowbrook one night was also a treat. We struggled a bit with the WiFi connection with three writers accessing computers, but once we moved the extender to the window we had better luck! Loved the house history photo album showing the story of the family and how they made it their home. Would definitely stay again. "

Morning walks to surf or along the coast to the cute and quaint downtown for coffee, restaurants, and cute boutiques! Communication with property management was exceptional and everything from check in to departure was easy. 10/10 recommend - made for a memorable mother daughter weekend! Thank you all! "

"Very nice location central to most things in the area. The house itself was very nice and the separation of the bedrooms gave everyone the feeling of separate privacy. The beds were all very comfortable. However, there were ants consistently in the master bathroom as well as the kitchen. I don’t feel for this amount of money that that should have been occurring. The sectional couch in the main living area was not connected - the three sections came apart, despite the men in our party trying to fix that. The couch split apart very easily - this was dangerous for my grandchildren and anyone else sitting on the couch. Again for this amount of money the home rents for, they should have a couch that’s all attached. Overall, we had a wonderful time, but I’m not sure I would select this location again for those reasons."
