Nice on check in food was good with exception of Salad bar it had small varity for the high price Food was good service was friendly but asked us if every thing was ok to often

We drive across Canada a couple of times a year and stay in the usual chain hotels....the Days Inn, Supe 8 etc....they are all usually quite satisfactory after a long day's drive. This time we decided to try something different and booked the Grant Hall. What a pleasant surprise in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan . It is an old hotel refurbished to original splendour ....the Royal York of Moose Jaw so to speak. It is certainly a few steps up from the chains and for the same price. So do yourself a favour next time you turn off your cruise control as you buzz across the prairies. Give this place a try. My only minor suggestion would be for them to add more yoghurt and fruit to the included breakfast.

Our first night the room was small with an inadequate bathroom and the bed was uncomfortable. After complaining to the manager we had a complimentary upgrade for our second night. The room was much better but still not sure if it was worth $220. Only stay here to use the pool anytime we want or to pop in to the casino.
