Rose Haven Cottage is a small comfortable home. In the heart of Montrose.

  • Located at 825 South Uncompahgre. A small, cozy, cottage style home. Small, efficiency kitchen, roomy bathroom with large shower. Nice, at home bedroom with comfortable bed and linens. The living room has a TV with DVD player in it, a sofa with hide-a-bed, as well as other amenities for your comfort. Rose Haven Cottage is set up as though we were going to live there, and we want it to be as though you are a guest in our home.
    We have WIFI internet for your convenience.
    We want to encourage you to visit our beautiful area and then come Home to Rose Haven Cottage.

    I want to inform you before you book our Cottage. I am the owner and the person in charge of everything including cleaning and repairs. I do have people who assist me when needed.

Great Location

The property was as advertised, clean and a great location! We stayed a week, and each day after breakfast there, we enjoyed a different adventure to enjoy Colorado's beauty. We enjoyed the many restaurants each night for supper. Liked the "rose theme" in the property.

This stay worked well for my partner and i for a quick trip to Montrose for a wedding. The house was clean and tidy and very cozy. The only critique i have is to list the current wifi Name and the password, it was a bit of a guessing game to figure out which network to connect to!

Great little cabin close to Black Canyon

We stayed at the Rose Haven Cottage for a week to work remotely and take evening trips over to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. This was the perfect place for that! Cozy and clean we enjoyed our stay. Wifi largely held up (some issues with multiple video calls, not terribly unexpected) and the kitchen had everything we needed for a longer stay. The cabin was walking distance to Montrose’s cute downtown and a 20min. Drive from the park. Highly recommend Rose Haven!

The Rose Haven was OK

I liked the location, I liked the city. The RH furniture was my issue. It appears that the RH allows pets and those pets like the furniture. I couldn't use the couch.

Old but mice

Funky exterior…looks untouched for 70 years but interior totally remodeled. All appliances, kitchen cabinets bathroom all new. Hot tub looked nice but it rained every afternoon so we didn’t use it. Very well equipped kitchen except glassware was sparse…no wine glasses! Entry keypad was hard to use as it didn’t light up. I recommend new lock.

Quiet Stay in a Convenient Location

Old & dated but cute little cottage for our 10-day stay in town for the County Fair. Very quiet location but just a couple of blocks from the main street through town & 3 blocks from a grocery store. Bed was comfortable and shower was clean and powerful. Towels were plush. Kitchen was very small but adequate. One tiny window A/C unit in the bedroom struggled a bit to keep up with the unusual 100+ degree heat, but cooled down comfortably at night. Be aware personal toiletries are not provided here. Cissy was very friendly & available to help in any way needed; we enjoyed our visits with her & Wes and their kids next door.
