Since we were 3 friends, we booked a room for 3. The size really generous and set up was perfect. Only disappointment the leaking shower, the fact that you could not fix the shower tub (there was a "rainforest" shower on top though) and the bathroom door that was impossible to close (room 236). It seemed damaged at one connection to the frame. Also, the service at the pool was lousy. When you spent 100 USD for 3 drinks with snacks, it hurts - the service must be impeccable. We had to ask 3 times to get some nuts. At least they did not insist to wear masks everywhere - it was a sensation of freedom in our current times. Another small disappointment were the white plastic cups (!) in the SPA, it destroys the feeling of luxury. Probably due to covid, but they could have found transparent disposable cups instead. In general the SPA is feeling cold, it lacks a bit in personalised, warm decoration. Otherwise everything is perfect and the historical hotel remains of course a must see!
