Staff amazing, location fantastic, had trouble with the shower as hot water kept going off and the water went to a dribble, they tried to fix this, managed to get hot water but still a dribble of water so gave up. If you want to keep up with the news there are NO english channels on the TV we weren't in the room a lot so not a great problem, the breakfast was basic but nice, with croissants, cheese and ham and jams, and the bread rolls were lovely, the orange was a bit hit and miss as one day was lovely the next two were quite watery. But a lovely clean friendly hotel otherwise

Hotel location was good, walking distance to most attractions, that being said... When we first entered the room there was a stale smell, toilet was not fully cleaned. Noise isolation is terrible, you can hear every step of someone in the next room or in the corridor. Our phones did not have reception in the room, and room had no windows. Wi-fi worked speratically so staff gave us a password of another hotels wi-fi, which was very slow. Shower walls were moldy, shower head was clogged up and sprayed in all directions other than anticipated. Every time our room would be cleaned single use cups would be thrown out but not replenished. There is a wine bottle opener in the room, so we asked for glasses, but staff stated that they only had one red wine and three champagne glasses. Breakfast was a joke. Coffee from powder, cheese wrapped in plastic water for tea wasn’t hot. Door architrave (wooden trim) came off and almost hit our toddler on her head, staff did not worry to apologize, just stated “it’s late already so we will get a technician tomorrow”. “Handy” phone device was not charged, did not work within the room, overall it seemed mainly intended to collect data of places one intend to visit or interested in. Finally 2 out of the 3 reception desk individuals we encountered smoked and they couldn’t wait to get outside to light up so on more than one occasion we ran into them with our 2 year old with a lit ciggarate in hand at a stairwell.

The hotel location was wonderful,it was close to all major attractions. A bakery around the corner and restaurants. The room was very clean...had shampoos and soaps,wi fi, free phone to use,breakfast. Definitely recommend and would stay there again

Great location and superb service

Stayed at Hotel Boutique Nazionale for 3 nights. The concierge was fantastic; amazingly friendly and gave a detailed explanation of the popular tourist attractions and how to get their from the hotel upon check in. The hotel is in a great location and virtually all of the major attractions are within walking distance. Note that the hotel is on the second floor and that there is a tiny elevator that fits one person so be prepared to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. WiFi connection is fast and reliable. Note that minimal toiletries are offered (no hand lotion for example) and that a physical key is used to access your room (the locks are a bit finicky and not that intuitive). Also, breakfast is only served between 8 am and 10 am and is delivered to your door - it is not buffet style - so you may miss it. All in all, it was a good stay for good value.

Small hotel but cozy

We had 5 nights in Rome and stayed in this friendly cute boutique hotel.Alex was the real treasure.nice and ready to help.he gave us a smart phone,so we could use the gps and google etc.breakfast was average but nothing to complain.it was a very good stay and I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone especially young couples.thank you Alex and the other staff. Ok overall. I wish the breakfast would have been served elsewhere rather than in the room. It would also have been good for hotel to advise in advance that city tax is paid only in cash. Guests prefer not to keep foreign currency on their way of the country.

The room was big but had no window because it was an economy room. It didn’t even have a number on the door! Breakfast was only cold items and different types of coffees. Staff was very good and helpful

Fantastic little gem, central to everything!

Beautifully hidden and fantastically located hotel. We arrived at 2am and thanks to the 24 hour reception check in was a breeze. Each night you select what you would like for breakfast and it is then delivered to your door at your chosen time the next morning. Large rooms with lovely bathrooms. I usually suffer with a very bad back especially after walking around all day, I did not suffer once during my stay due to the comfort of the beds. The main station is a 10min walk and the main sights ie colloseum and Trevi Fountain are 5-15min walk depending on your walking speed. We walked everywhere from this hotel, it’s perfectly located and such great value for what you get. On our last day the staff were also happy to hold our suitcases whilst we made the most of our last few hours in the city. And had space for us to change before heading back to the airport. The staff had great English and brilliant knowledge of the are and what to do and what times. Found not recommend enough!!!

Very nice room, super comfortable mattress, big and modern bathroom with great facilities. She guys at the reception desk are very friendly and efficient. Very convenient location, 10 min walking distance from the Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi...
