Top Montgomery's Lough Hotel Reviews

The Gardener's Cottage

10/10 Excellent

"This delightful cottage is a hidden gem, deceptively spacious as the main stone part is the bedroom and the kitchen, dressing room and bathroom occupy part of the white building to the left of the entrance door. Ample parking, farm animals next door and a super host who lives on site. Great location for Belfast but central for all parts of County Down including the Mournes and museums."

Hill Farm Spacious 4-Bed Countryside Home

10/10 Excellent

"The set up of the house on one floor and the three separate living areas."

Ashside Cottage, Royal Hillsborough, Belfast

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay was amazing!! The home is beautiful, well taken care of, with stunning views of the countryside. Bonus of 2 beautiful, friendly horses behind the house! Location was nearby the Pheasant which had great food and fun/friendly atmosphere. We all loved our stay and if we're ever back in the area we would absolutely love to stay there again! Rosemary and Richard were so kind and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Joan"

Old Stone Cottage - historical cottage with woodburner, great trails

10/10 Excellent

"We go to Belfast every summer to visit family. This cottage was absolutely perfect for us. So peaceful but ten minutes drive away from some shops and eating places. The cottage is stunning. We would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning next year if it’s available. Thank you so much to Joanne for information about local area and places to eat. We couldn’t have loved it more X"

Cobbles Cottage - 2 Bedroom Stone Built Cottage

8/10 Good

"Nice place but facilities more than a little varied. No wooden spoons, but most bizarrely of all no freezer compartment in the fridge yet there was a wine fridge! Incorrect priorities there I'm afraid. You couldn't keep your lolly's in the wine fridge!"

Frontview Cottage - Two Bedroom - Sleeps 6 Guests

10/10 Excellent

"The location is good. Busy road during the day but quiet at night. The cottage has the charm of being old but it does require some attend to the deco, particularly in the bathroom and the kitchen. They could do with a refresh. Top bedrooms and the ones downstairs were in good order. "
