"Hotel was nice and modern. Easy check in, nice food, we ate there for dinner and breakfast. Really nice plump pillows and comfy bed! Downsides; there was a private party that kept us up until midnight with loud music. You can't buy the wine from this vineyard at the bar, but you could buy other local wines. There was nowhere to wait for breakfast except out in the cold. Breakfast starts at 0800 but was not ready on time. This being said, it was a great breakfast with a fresh croissant each and a charcutterie board. Beware through, the Restaurant toilets don't lock"

"The property is clean and lovely. It is set in the middle of the Tuscan countryside which is beautiful beyond words. The room was quaint and comfortable and the bed was comfortable. There is nothing close to this place but vineyards and olive trees, so you will want a car. We saw a deer running along the side of the road. The nearest major city is Sienna, which is 15 minutes away and which you do not want to miss seeing. The hotel has a nice restaurant that opens for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but it is only open limited hours, not all day and not late night."

"We've stayed on two previous occasions at La Bagnaie, but not at this particular villa. The reviews don't really do it justice. It was well furnished, fanatically located with views across Tuscany to San Gimignano, and with every necessary bit of information provided in advance. Jacky, the manager who we have met on two previous occasions, called in and along with the host, was her usual very welcoming self. Jacky even managed to engage Serena to cook for us one night, a delightful, very talented local chef who we would highly recommend, if you can get her! Not one of us could think of any way in which our way could be improved."

Pool is shared and this could have been more clearly noted in the property description. Off road journey to get to the property is noted and not untypical in the region but was quite bumpy till the local road leveller smoothed it out."
