Location is ok, everything else not so much

Posted 08-Aug-2016
The hotel was very dirty- the carpet was actually sticky and turned our feet black. There was only one bath towel on arrival (room with two queens)- when we asked for more the staff treated it like it was a hassle. No wash cloths. Mysterious stains on the walls. Toilet dirty. Water pressure virtually nil. I had brought swim suits thinking my kids would enjoy the spa- nope out of order. "Fitness room" filthy with trash on the floor. Convenient in terms of location, but even with that I would not stay here again.

Nicer than I expected. Great location - Close to pretty much any type of "store" you need.

Don't stay here if you are in Soledad, CA.

Posted 29-Mar-2016 on Hotels
This was the only hotel near the Mission in Soledad that would accept our dog. The room that they put us in was filthy. I spilled water on the carpet and used a towel to soak it up and the towel was black from the dirt that came up from the carpet. The beds were old and blown out - you could feel the springs through the mattress. The bedding was also old - the sheets were rough and the pillows were deflated. All for $120.00. When I mentioned to the desk person as I checked out that the room was filthy - including dirt in the corners of the bathroom etc... she could have cared less and said nothing - not an apology or even an indication that she gave a darn, whatsoever. There is a Hotel 8 next door that I will stay at next time OR Ill just camp at Pinnacles. Have not had a stay this bad in a motel/hotel in decades, to be honest. Even our dog was disgusted.

best hotel for hiking the pinnacles

Posted 26-Feb-2016 on Hotels
Great place to stay if hiking the pinnacles - alas hot tub was not working and wifi is pretty spotty. They were kind though and gave small discount for hot tub as was looking forward to. Some nice wineries around as not much else to do in town.

Wifi didn't work. Needed to change room. The sink has rustic residue in it that doesn't go away. But for the price, it's acceptable.

Great, clean and nice place to stay

Posted 27-Jan-2016
Pros: My Contractor
Cons: The shower curtain, when you shower the curtain touches you, They make a arch curtain rod that keeps it away from you.
Location: Don't know I was working
Beds are very comfortable and rooms are big. The restaurant next door has excellent food

Nice hotel near national park

Posted 28-Dec-2015
The hotel is Quiet, clean, and comfortable. They provide everything you need and you probably need ( shower cap, microwave, hot spa). The breakfast is also good. The location is good (near a small plaza, many restaurants).

Just drive through Soledad

The cost of the hotel was $109. I think it is pretty expensive for the area and the amenities of the hot tub was not available. The rooms heater was a window unit that was very old and loud and it took a few minutes to warm up. There is also a $4 energy Charge that is not noted on the price in hotels.com. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was too, the bed was ok. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's just a place to lay your head at night, nothing special.
