With a property this big, there needs to be more laundry units, especially if you have a pool. With that said, there also needs to be available towels for guests when they are using the pool.

Our room was clean and roomy. We paid a little extra for the ocean view and it was worth it! You can even go up on the roof and catch the view. They have seating and lights up on the roof. Great breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Within easy driving distance of Monterey’s Old Fishermans Wharf.

Lots of construction everywhere. Hotel was nice. Staff was great. Lots of shopping across the street. Breakfast was not very good. Potatoes were hard. Room was nice and clean. Beds comfortable.

I loved this property for its clean rooms and comfy bed! The room was spacious. My favorite thing was the breakfast that was included and there was something for everyone! We will be back.

This was to celebrate a birthday with family. Everything was excellent. Everything advertised is exactly what it is. Employees go above and beyond, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. You can go on the rooftop and enjoy Ocean view and peace and quiet and in the evenings. Fire pits down below for a romantic time. kids love the indoor pool and full hot breakfast in the morning .Love the welcome message on my TV. Close enough to Monterey ,Cannery row. I think this is the best hotel in Marina. I want to give a special thank you to Brianna at the front desk. She answered all my questions about the hotel before I got there and I also appreciate the rest of the staff. This in my opinion is the best hotel in Marina. I would say Five Stars. Definitely a hidden Jewel of Marina, California. Highly recommend!! Singles, families, couples and business or leisure trips? You will not be disappointed.

The rooftop was a nice large space to hang out at. My kids loved it up there. The bar/bistro area was very nice and was able to purchase drinks / chicken tenders and pizza for the kids. The potatoes, eggs, and waffles for breakfast were delicious! Staff were so friendly and the rooms were clean.

Immaculate, well run hotel
This hotel is very clean and all of the employees are most helpful. Big screen tv 's in the lobby along with a small bar that has a nice happy hour. Our room was immaculate! Perfect location with 15 minute access to Carmel and Monterey. Will be back again.

We were very pleased with the room and the property. Very modern and convenient, would highly recommend especially for families. The trundle bed sofa was incredibly convenient. Awesome bathroom.

Good place but…
The hotel is nice but the climate control in the room was less than ideal. The bench built over the ac/heating unit pushed the output of air onto the bed. Combined with the thermostat being in the lounge area on the other side of the room it was either way too hot or way too cold air blowing on the bed. Otherwise it was a nice hotel.

Very decent and fairly new hotel with a good breakfast buffet, indoor pool and an exercise room. Fire pits in the yard were nice for cool Monterey nights. Only thing was that the rooms were getting warmer without any heater in a cool fall weather of Monterey area. We tried two rooms and they were the same. So, to keep it pleasant, it needed to cool using the AC unit which is right next to one of the beds. So, not very pleasing to have AC to blow right next to you at night.

Translucent bathroom door!?!
Lets start with the positives. 1. The rooms are a great size, plenty of room for our family of 5. 2. Breakfast was tasty, and offered a variety for our many eaters. 3. Easy check in and check out. 4. Close to other amenities, ex. Food and retail shops across the street (anyone for the last minute Target run?) 5. Roof top is awesome! Excellent view! 6. The closet is huge! Now for a few less positive, but they weren't deal breakers for us. 1. The breakfast seating is limited. While the rooms cater to larger families (more than 4 ppl) the tables in the breakfast area do not. Most are 2 seats, and not many of those. 2. The pool is on the small side (gets crowded with only a few kids) 3. The bathroom in the guestroom is terribly designed! Its an awkward entrance into the shower. There is no way to turn on only 1 light, and the door to the bathroom is translucent! This means when someone gets up to use the restroom or take a shower while others are sleeping then the bathroom light shines on everyone in the room. If you have sound sleepers it may not be a problem; if you have light sleepers get ready to use the potty in the dark.
