Good location, fabulous brunch buffet
There is construction happening. Entrance to parking is confusing and the navigation directions on the google maps are not correct. The instructions given at the front desk are not realistic. He told me to drive on a narrow passage way that is full of pedestrians. It is marked as the entranced. Other drivers also refused to turn onto this sidewalk that is marked as the entrance. I wound up driving around the block to try again, but this is Monterrey, so that involved 2 trips through a tunnel and multiple turns and driving around before I finally found the entrance to the parking garage. Once in the parking garage, there is an adventurous trek to the front desk. Up a ramp, through a plain metal back door entrance, now in a hallway with hotel rooms, and no sign of the lobby. Now look around, find the elevator, go downstairs, outside, cross a busy pedestrian mall, up another ramp, and finally to the lobby.
I was offered a room with "frequent complaints of road noise". I looked at it, heard the road noise and declined it. They said they would call me when another room was ready. They never called. Hours later, I came back and was assigned a room that was a very long hike from the lobby, and a very very long distance from my car. The room was clean and pleasant.
I did have to call about noise from a party in the courtyard at 11 pm. The front desk attempted to dismiss this as people returning to rooms.
Breakfast was very nice, the location is good.
