The hotel was nice but under construction. Once it is complete, I see the hotel conditions improving. Finding the parking from the street was confusing as the signage appeared to be direction ingredients you to make a turn on a one way street rather than directing you to go straight onto a small alley way.

Good Hotel, Location, Currently Under Construction

Posted 04-Jan-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: It is hard to operate while undergoing construction, the hotel staff needs to balance this challenge.
Location: Next to Fisher's Wharf, great walking routes.
Good hotel in a great location. The hotel was under construction which made it challenging. There was a long line to check in at 5 PM, the rooms weren't ready. There was an issue with house keeping. The room was nice but loud construction early in the morning.

Very Poor... Construction Site... No hot water...

Posted 03-Jan-2017
Pros: nice bed
Cons: Everything but the bed...
Location: Fisher-mans wharf and Cannery row in walking distance
My fiancé and I stayed here at this hotel for 3 days between Christmas and new year. Whilst the hotel staff assure me I was told that the hotel would be a construction site I cannot find any reference to this. The first room they had us in was right next to the construction work. We had a jack-hammer literally right outside and workman looking in our room. Staff kindly moved us to an upgraded room which was nice but we had no hot water for most of one of the days. Staff were at best adequate. I would not recommend this hotel. We will be going back to the intercontinental on cannery row next time.

Pros: Decoration. Some hot and considerate employee. Not expensive.
Cons: parking need to be free.
Location: You know. Highway 1.
Everything is perfect. Except it's not free to park.

Staffs interaction

Posted 26-Dec-2016
I spent a night to meet up my friend over there for Christmas. We have to pay extra on parking on top of the hotel fee which it was okay... it was a long drive that we decided to choose the velvet parking ($22.00) over the self parking ($19.00) ... when I went out to dinner meeting up with my friends, we asked them to get our car ready because it was a Calvert parking... by that time I don't have cash to give to the guy so I decided to get in the car but everyone started to laugh because I don't have cash to pay tip on top of that .... it makes me feel so so bad .......

Construction started outside our room at 8am with drills and jackhammers. Wish they could of waited. Also front desk is in an odd place and lobby looks empty if chairs etc. food and rooms and location was great.
