Beautifuly remodeled

Staff was super friendly even took the time to explain to us what good restaurants there are in town. Room was beautiful and newly remodeled. Only bad thing was the location could use a bit cleaning as well and painting to complete its niceness.

Unexpectedly nice motel nicely refurbished

Really big room with a very comfortable bed, very quiet neighborhood, nicely refurbished, super friendly staff and a great coffee in the morning.

Confortable Stay

Happy with our stay at Motel 6. Check-in was a little slow but other than that rooms in good condition and clean. A bit annoying that the reception was locked until almost 8am, therefore impossible to have a coffee if an early riser.

Great Location!

Clean room, easy check in, pet friendly, AC, heat, TV with good cable selection, refrigerator, microwave, and free wi-fi. It costs more than other Motel6 motels I've been to, but it was worth it. I loved being minutes away from a very nice shopping center with a huge theater and great restaurants. There's also a good Asian restaurant on the property. I would definitely stay again here.

This Motel 6 seems recently renovated. The bed covers didn't look super clean, but apart from that the room was spotless. The tile floors are definitely a plus over (albeit colder than) the old linoleum found in other motels of the chain.

Great stay! Will stay here again!

We had a great stay! We started out our Monterey visit with a reservation with a different establishment further up the road. Long story-short: That establishment did quite a bit of false advertising on Hotels.com; plus the room was dirty, and they tried to blame us for it! But...Motel 6 swooped in and saved the day! We checked in later in the evening, we got a great room that was super clean. The staff bent over backwards to help make our stay enjoyable. They had a crib ready to go for our infant twin daughters, and quickly brought over everything we had forgotten. I can't say enough about the completely different experience we had. THANKS Motel 6!!!

Pet friendly and newly modern

Staff/owners were wonderful. Place was like brand new(newly renovated.) the wifi set up isn't great, and it has more of a modern feel than a comfortable one. But over all good place and PET FRIENDLY! Thanks!

Awesome for a Motel 6

Yes, it's a Motel 6... so don't expect the Four Seasons. But for a Motel 6 this one was especially well-kept, well-run, and well-situated. My room was clean and spacious, the bathroom had a full size tub/shower, and the room included a microwave and small refrigerator. It's also close to the freeway and just blocks from downtown Monterey. I would definitely stay here again.
