Noise level high

Posted 19-Oct-2017
The rooms are not sound proof. People slamming doors that wake you up. No tub in rooms just walk in showers.

4 Stars Improvement needed.

Posted 19-Oct-2017
Parking is terrible! Restaurants needs some food and menu changes. Out side of the lobby, rails, etc needs some updates. Fireplace in the lobby also due for modern update. Everything else is ok.

Great location

Posted 18-Oct-2017
Cons: Our room was a little noisy, must have been near some sort of machine that kicked in about 6am.
Very comfortable hotel ,great staff very helpful to our needs. Breakfasts very good, we had 1 meal in the restaurant which was excellent.

Comfortable hotel off the beaten path

Posted 12-Oct-2017
Pros: It's off the beaten path, meaning it's not right downtown in Monterey, but close enough - a short drive - to Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf.
Location: Cannery Row, Fisherman's Wharf, and easy access to freeway to Carmel. Good restaurants and shops. Definitely "The Breakfast Club" in Seaside.
We've stayed at this location several times now and have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. An upgrade to a golf course view is worth the nominal fee. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. The grounds are well-kept. This location has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay (nice room, restaurants, fitness center, pools, etc.).

Over priced .

Posted 09-Oct-2017
Stayed one night with a pet . Room fee was $500.00. Had a view of the freeway access road. Internet was too slow to use. The facility is older , so although nice , was just average . For the price, I could have stayed on the beach and had enough money left over for a nice dinner . Not much point in staying here . Room was worth about $175.00. Try somewhere else .

decent hotel

Posted 09-Oct-2017
Pros: comfortable bed and pillow
Cons: better shower facility
Location: concert
very confusing getting to our room / poor signage for elevators. Also poor shower water power. shower so cold w/ open glass area. Looks nice but not realistic for comfort while showering.

Overpriced for Value Given

Posted 09-Oct-2017
Paper thin walls, intermittent internet connectivity, dated landscaping, and cursory pet-friendliness.

Beautiful!!! Comfortable!!! Quiet!!

Posted 02-Oct-2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: Cleaning the webs off the balcony would be good, but I know that's a minor request!
Location: Great location!!! Close to everything but you will need to drive!
From the moment we pulled up the hotel we knew it would be a fabulous stay. I've stayed here in the past, but my bf had never been to this beautiful property. The offer free Valet (which can come in handy because parking was tight in front of our building) The room itself was lovely -- we had a golf course view and even ordered room service which we enjoyed on our small balcony. The bathroom is updated which a nice shower with fixed glass door panel... Very modern and clean. Loved that the hotel is away from everything yet only a few minutes to wharf and cannery row. We will be back!

A wonderful place

Posted 30-Sep-2017
A beautiful resort in a gorgeous location, very helpful staff, great facilities/amenities, and a wonderful conference center on site. Delicious food and plenty of opportunity to sit and meet with friends and colleagues in casual and stylish outdoor (and indoor) surroundings, in some of the best weather the US has to offer, year round.

Nice place to stay!

Posted 28-Sep-2017
Pros: It only had one shower door so water spilled out.
I took my son and grandson to Monterey for the weekend and stayed at the Hyatt Regency. The room was very nice and the view beautiful. I like the way it's spread out so it's only 3 stories high. The pool was warm and clean as well. We were close to Cannery Row, The Wharf and Dennis the Menace Park. I will definitely stay there again when I go visit Monterey!
