So this place looks ok at first glance-nothing special but nothing terrible-then we tried to use the shower.......the bathtub did not drain (like filling up around your feet while showering) that’s when we noticed the filthy ring around the tub as well (we had just gotten off the road and didn’t even think to look for a bathtub ring-seriously?!) the front desk said they were booked out and we could find another hotel if we wished but could not refund the $160 we had just paid......and offered to dump draino down the drain as a solution. Skip to the next morning-the sink backs up something yellow.....YELLOW....and my daughter attempts to shower which was a massive mistake-same problem. Simply disgusting-and when we complained again in the morning I said we had already complained the night before and she acted surprised (I’m guessing the staff the night before did not actually make it clear). The hot tub was also closed that morning and being drained-quite possibly some serious plumbing problem.
I don’t know about anyone else-but for $160 on a weeknight I expected far more-there are tons of decent hotels nearby that are cheaper and look comparable to this one-I’ll be staying alsewhere without a doubt.
