the person that runs the establishment and lives there. he's kind of hard to understand but nice in general. the rooms are clean and cozy the parking lot fills up quicklyand the choice of people in the neighborhood have something to be desired but they didn't bother me there is a restaurant called The Breakfast Club across the street the food is great just make it there before the line starts took me 40 minutes to get inside but it was worth the wait

This was just your average hotel nothing special about it but if your trying to save some money it's one of the cheapest hotels in the area that isn't disgusting.

Worst experience of my life

Posted 07-Jul-2015
I paid thru expedia, and they still wanted an extra $20 because the number of people (5). Then the guy at reception charged $110 to my credit card "by mistake" he said. And he asked me to sign it "so he could void it". He woild not give me a record of the transaction brcause i wouldnt sign it. Eventually he voided it without my signature. The room smelled bad

Strange noises.

The pipes (?) of some other room were really noisy and woke us up at some point.

Won't stay again.

Pros: Close to food.
If your in Seaside, spend the extra money and stay somewhere nice. The first room I was put in had a flooded bathroom floor. I was given another non smoking room that reeked of cigarette smoke.

Our Stay

Posted 02-Jun-2015 on Hotels
The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. However our "Non-Smoking" room reeked of cigarettes, so much so that when we left our clothes smelt of it. Also the breakfast was a little lacking, no utensil's or plates where left out and only little snack cakes where left out to eat.

Good for the money, in that area.

Posted 23-May-2015
Pros: Good value for the money, clean and quiet.
Cons: Being reasonable, nothing.
Location: Great location for restaurants and access to local, "high rent" areas.
In an area of high prices, the place was very good. It was clean and quiet, close to restaurants and access to Moterey/Carmel. Black Bear Diner is very close and a great place for good food, reasonably priced.

Americas Best Value Seaside CA

Posted 18-Apr-2015 on Hotels

Seaside Family Trip

Posted 08-Apr-2015 on Hotels
When we checked in they were unable to find both reservations I made. Once checked in, we found a lizard in our room. There was a domestic dispute that went on almost all night. The people above us stomped on the floor all night. A homeless man slept between the two motels. Overall feeling of safety was not good.
