Great location to explore Montepulciano and the surrounding area. Lovely views from the room. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Enjoyed hanging out at the wine bar downstairs after a long day. Wold definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and charming small hotel . Loved it !
Location fabulous, close to piazza Grand. Room spacious and decor charming. Linen good quality and fluffy towels/ robes in bathroom. Bathroom huge with double sinks and large shower with great water pressure. Service excellent and breakfast delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend.

This was the best hotel we stayed at during our 26 day vacation. Wonderful welcome clean room with outstanding views. Parking available and wine bar was first rate. Breakfast selection was very good. Would strongly recommend the hotel.

An excellent, extremely clean and elegant place in the best ( I mean BEST ! ) spot in this quaint place. Parking is at the front door. Breakfast is a delight. The staff are warm and helpful, and genuinely interested in ensuring you have an informed and enjoyable holiday.

Simply Wonderful
This place was simply wonderful. Great bed, tons of space (with extra secret room up the spiral stairs), great views over the village and the valley, friendly staff, helpful owners, and too much wonderful food! This place is in tie for our favorite place we stayed during our 3 week trip. The location was perfect for walking around the village - but also peaceful at night, and the wine bar downstairs has a great selection of food - and so many of fabulous wines! The sunsets from here were also so great. We have already highly recommended this place to our close friends and fellow travelers. ...Now I just need to figure out a way to get back here again on our future travels!

The property was in a small, historic area. Only four rooms, with a very helpful staff. Really enjoyed the place, and would go back again. Only issue was that the wine bar/restaurant was closed on Monday, due to time of season, which we were not made aware of. That was a bit disappointing.

Best hotel I’ve been to in Italy
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Amazing service and truly professional staff. The hotel should be a 5 star. The rooms are big and spacious and the bathroom the largest I’ve ever seen in all of Italy. I must say that the staff truly makes the stay. True professionals. The location is perfect with a wine bar downstairs. We went there every night after dinner. I cannot wait to go back this hotel next time we are in Tuscany.

This hotel is amazing! First, the view is second to none. The owner couldn’t do enough for us and immediately offered us a glass of wine upon arrival. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was beautiful. The location is perfect and we will definitely return.

Great location, facilities and staff.
A little difficult to find but well worth it. Free upgrade to a corner room with fantastic views all round. All staff were friendly and helpful. Food served was very good. Looking round Montepulciano I didn’t see any other accommodation I would have preferred.

Fantastic hotel in beautiful Tuscany!
This is a small boutique hotel with only a few rooms with some of the most beautiful views we had in all of Tuscany. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with this little hotel and their staff. Fantastic breakfast and 5 star service all the way around!

Amazing
Really nice little hotel. I think there’s only four rooms in the entire place, so if you get a room count yourself lucky. The owner is super nice, the wine bar is really wonderful and the food there is good too. The hotel helped us get a tour at Valdipiatta winery and that was really good too. The location is fantastic, nice and quiet during at night with a fantastic view. Most epic view I’ve ever had while using the toilet lol.

Great Hotel - Perfect Location
This is a great place to stay. The location is perfect as it is on a hill - in a hill town. People come to parking area outside of the hotel to take pictures at sunset - that's how wonderful it is. Our room had views in two directions, which was an added bonus. Downstairs is a wine bar and cafe and we visited it each evening to have a drink after touring the town. Everyone there was very nice and accommodating. There was a good variety of food for the breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

5 Star Experience!
My daughters and I stayed at La Locanda and felt very welcomed and taken care of. We were offered drinks and snacks (mini appertivo) upon check-in. From helping us find a place for dinner and making the reservation, to the very satisfying breakfast the following morning, our vacation just became that much more enjoyable. And, by the way, awesome views from our suite!

Above and beyond
Went on a hot air balloon ride, early the next morning(hotel owner gave us the idea). The hotel packed us a little snack for the ride over. Everbody was very nice and accommodating for our stay.

Upscale hotel with expensive furnishings
A wonderful greeting by the employees and owner at an upscale hotel at the top of Montepulciano .......reserve parking in front for free............We lucked out with a "blues" band playing the night of our arrival at the wine bar below............ a great stop in a great town!!!
