"The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely and helpful staff. The only thing I missed was a shelf in the bathroom to place toiletries etc. They have a very civilised system for residents to have easy access to free tea, coffee, cold drinks and pastries etc during their stay, located just by Reception. A really nice place to stay, only a short walk from all of Lucca's amenities. Very close to the Elisa portal within the old walls. "

"This was our second stay at this hotel and like the first time, it did not disappoint. It is an older hotel but it is kept up pretty well. Breakfast was terrific, as was the staff. The location is great - convenient to the center of town, as well as shopping and restaurants. We come to Montecatini once or twice a year so I hope we can stay here again."

"Planned this trip with my two siblings and my sister in law and we are so happy we chose Massimo’s Villa! Massimo is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to accommodate us on a very late arrival time due to some airline delays. We should have arrived at 3pm but due to delays and being rerouted through Rome we did not arrive until 1am. Massimo’s suggestions for restaurants and winery visits were on point and setting us up with a Chef to cook dinner for us at the Villa made for a very memorable evening. Would not hesitate to stay at this property again! 5 Stars!!!"

The staff was so friendly and even provided us with a bottle of complimentary champagne on our first night to celebrate! Everything was perfect and a great break from the busy streets in Rome! "
