"I booked a king-size room with a balcony and breakfast included through Expedia. The hotel gave me the room I booked, but the room was not functional. The air conditioning was not working, and there was no hair dryer in the room. Around two o’clock in the morning, I woke up sweating because the room was extremely hot. I called the front desk because I could not sleep in a room with no working air conditioning. Instead of fixing the problem properly, they offered to move me to a downgraded room with two small beds, which was not what I paid for. The manager, Ryan, treated me extremely badly at two o’clock in the morning. He was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. His attitude was basically: take the downgraded room, accept a fifty percent discount, or leave. He acted like because I booked through Expedia, it was not his problem. This was completely unacceptable. I paid for a king-size room with balcony and breakfast, but the room had no working air conditioning and no hair dryer. The only solution offered was a much worse room with two small beds. The way the manager handled the situation was disgusting. One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I would not recommend this property."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and attentive and helped with extra bedding request immediately. Only issue was finding parking due to construction equipment."

"Beautiful location overlooking the Hudson River! Older property but in good condition, adequate parking and good location right next to highway for easy access (which, along with the nearby train tracks, did make for some noise)...our room was adequate but on the small side. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Included breakfast was spartan - cereal, bagels, hard boiled eggs (unless they run out), coffee machine (but no juice), waffle maker which saved the day! We would stay again just for the beautiful view!!"

"I booked two beds and got there to discover we had one king and a sofa bed which you could feel the springs on. Even the manager said that the sofa wasn’t for sleeping, just for sitting. There was certainly ample space in the room for another bed. And the king was against a different wall than the tv was facing so they must have moved the bed for some unknown reason so we could only see the tv in profile. We would have distracted ourselves with the view but alas we also opened our shade to find out we were behind the entrance marquee. "

"The room clean and spacious. It seemed to had been updated recently because it didn't have the usual stuffy hotel room smell. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was nice with hot and cold options. We visit the area 2-3 times a year to see our child, and we'll definitely come back."
