We have been to Tuscany on a few occasions, but this apartment was the most beautiful, tranquil and well-equipped property that we have stayed in. The apartment is very comfortable and relaxing, spacious and airy, a functioning kitchen (which isn't always the case in rental properties) well-tended, colourful gardens, a lovely pool and wonderful views. Mike's advice to stock up enroute at the Conad supermarket is worth following, so that you don't have to drive to Gambassi Carrefour too often (although it is a friendly store). There are restaurants of various levels in the area, and we ate well at all those we visited. We stayed for two weeks, and I wish it had been three.
