"My daughter and I went for a little weekend getaway. The staff was great and super friendly. Walking distance to downtown Big Bear. Located in the heart of Big Bear which makes it very convenient. Rooms were very clean. Grounds were very clean. There is a refrigerator located in your room, coffee maker, blow dryer as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash which provided in the shower if needed, I will definitely be recommending to family and friends."

"My husband and I are in the wedding industry, and needed a place to stay after a wedding in Fawnskin (4 hours away from home). Mostly we just need a place to sleep and nothing else. For that purpose, this was a wonderful place to stay! I did notice the walls needed a little TLC and looked more like we booked a small bedroom rather than a "resort" room as the name suggests. We needed to check in late (again, we work in weddings) and because we had no reception in the mountains, we had no way to communicate with the hotel that we were indeed still going to check in. I was so grateful for the gentleman who helped via call and text to get us checked in and into our room. I was however a little confused when the office was closed the next morning (around 10 am). The bed was a little uncomfortable, and we wished for a better night's rest after spending 8+ hours on our feet. Overall, it was a nice place in a nice area and we would definitely consider staying here again - preferably as a casual getaway vs a necessary stay."

"The guest house was cozy and comfortable. It was easy in and out. A/C worked beautifully during extremely hot weather. Parking was easy in and out. Host communicated beautifully. We had everything we needed. I would suggest a separate fenced area for pets to be off leash for the guest house. The property is too large to let dogs off leash. We were very pleased with our stay."
