We stayed two nights and used the spa facilities on the saturday all was excellent, nice and clean, my only criticism was the breakfast was cold on both days, especially the eggs. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay

Stunning hotel. Spotlessly clean. Excellent evening meal . Great spa. Disappointed about not being able to check in till 3 pm and too far from city centre

Great stay for a break!
Great stay! Room was good, staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I was gutted about was that there was dirty dishes and empty glasses with an empty bottle of wine sitting outside our door when we first arrived from the previous occupants.

Reception
On checking in staff not helpful and quite abrupt. I understand we were early for checking in but the staff could have been more welcoming and not continuously saying room not ready until 3 pm we understand that but there are ways of addressing their guests. I am sorry to say that the staff at double tree Hilton at Bath and Dunblane would put Chester to shame .

Don’t stay here
Extremely poor service, continuous noise coming from the air con vent in the room and the front desk did nothing about it and did not offer me an alternative room. Instead we had to sleep with the noise all night. I would highly avoid this hotel, purely down to staff

Clean and quiet, staff were attentive and friendly. Spa facilities are excellent but are an additional £20 per person for a 2 hour slot so you will need to factor this in if planning to make use of these optional facilities.

Great hotel, i was in 2 rooms as i was with the bride the first night the suite was huge with 2 bathrooms, settee, big tv mini bar, second room was also spacious twin room, the hotel is set in great grounds, 10 mins drive from the city centre £10 in taxi, staff were amazing and couldnt do enough for us, breakfast fantastic couldnt have asked for more, didnt have time to use the spa but looked ok recommend this hotel
