On Expedia, I signed up for a supreme room with king-sized bed. Our bed was queen-sized which made sleep very difficult due to physical limitations.

Nice room, good breakfast, and friendly staff. No elevator. The stairs are a killer for an old couple. Hopefully we get a first floor room on our return visit this week.

Our stay was terrible from check in. The lady at the desk was very rude and I am pretty sure she put us in the worst room they had. The room was dusty and crumbs on the floor and tv remote was busted. We woke up the next morning to a table full of ants which were coming from the heater under the window. There was a whole army of these ants crawling in a line up to the table where we had some of our belongings. The housekeeper came in and sprayed the ants with bug spray while my grandkids were in the room. So now we have an army of dead ants. Her comment to us was things happen. We complained at the front desk which was the same rude woman as check in. Also said they have had complaints of ants. She said she would talk to her manager but we have not heard anything from this motel. We will never stay there again.

Large, clean indoor pool and spa pool. Delicious, hot breakfast buffet with many options. Clean, quiet, and comfortable hotel, through and through.

Bad food and bad service.
When we went down for breakfast the receptionist was sitting at the desk looking at her cel phone. When we went to eat there was only 1 piece of burnt sausage and the fried eggs looked like they have been there for awhile . The coffee was cold only thing good to eat was oatmeal. Another guy came in after us and looked at the empty sausage pan and the eggs and decided to eat cold cereal. It would have been better if they made scrambled eggs. A lot more appetizing the. those dried eggs that looked like they flipped sunny side up eggs over and squared the yolks. Very disappointing. The packs of honey were all sticky .. The receptionist xa.e out looked at the food and I gueß went to make more sausage because she wasn't at the desk when we left. She threw some more packs of honey on top of the other ones. If she would have not been playing with her phone and chi on breakfast this would not have happened.

I apologize for your Breakfast experience. However, the AmericInn in Mitchell does not have honey in our breakfast, and we have been just serving scrambled eggs.

Staff was very friendly. Hotel looks aged on the outside and needs a fresh coat of paint, but is very clean and comfortable on the inside. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

Only an ok place to stay
It was a good stay, generally. There isn't any elevator, so that's a drag when one is female and has a heavy suitcase. Also, the bed was not very stable. I was sharing a King bed with a friend. Neither of us is very big (both under 150 pounds). Every time either of us moved in bed it would shake or sway. It would be nice if they'd invest in a platform to keep the bed solidly placed. Breakfast was good and out early, which was really great.

The property was fully booked due to an area event and the continental breakfast which was the reason for choosing this hotel was underwhelming. There was not enough food or seating for guests. The refrigerator was left closed and unplugged so was not cold when we arrived and smelled horrid. Way overpriced for what this place was.

Item was in both microwave & refrigerator from last hotel guest, so….guessing nothing was cleaned in those areas. Bed & bath were fine. Knobs on hot & cold we’re backwards.

We had a hot tub in our room and no one there knew how it worked. By the time we got our answer, we had used the one by the pool. Note: The switch was behind the lamp by the bed.

Check in clerk was nasty. Thanked him multiple times, he wouldn't even acknowledge I was speaking to him. The ladies in the am seemed to appreciate our business. They were very pleasant

Two things were extremely disturbing. First the rooms Which were for 5 people each were not set up until a roll away was requested. The roll away was very uncomfortable and insufficient! Second linens in room 208 were filthy on one bed including sticky substance, under pillow. Desk person was very helpful in correcting situations however this is unacceptable. To say the least I will be reluctant to use Wyndham for any future travels.
