Host was super friendly and gave recommendations on where/what to do while we were in town. Had Netflix on the tv so we could relax once we go back. The place is cute and very decorative. There were just too many safety issues that I was only able to stay one night out of the four I had booked. The driveway was not shoveled from snow, my Explorer slid down the driveway into the street with the parking break on while I was inside unpacking my things on the first night. The many deck steps I had to use to gain access were not shoveled and very dangerous. I shoveled and salted them myself, the shovel and salt was provided at the doorway entrance. The only way out in case of a fire was back up the basement stairs to the door. No egress windows, so not up to MN fire code with 2 escape routes. I did not have a door I could lock myself away for personal safety from the rest of the house. There is a door located at the top of the steps right by entryway access that leads directly to host living quarters so they can lock me out, but I had no way of attaining my own privacy. There is a flimsy door fold put in place of an actual door. There was notable "dust bunnies" located throughout the space. ##### Magaen K.
