"The staff made extra efforts to accommodate me since am a foreigner who cannot speak Korean. They provided a complimentary swimming pool ticket for 2 adults and a free table with two chairs at the pool. Pool and chairs cost extra so be prepared for that. "I’ve been a loyal guest for 20 years, but the unfriendliness of the hotel staff has remained unchanged. The front desk staff consistently behave like government officials. Even though the hotel was nearly empty today, they gave us twin beds instead of a double bed, despite our request, so we had to sleep apart like a separated family. There isn’t much to do around, and the golf practice range was filled with people smoking. However, Mount Taebaek and the hiking trails are undoubtedly among the best in the world. "
