The property was conveniently located to downtown. The room has a comfortable bed and adequate bathroom needs. What I didn't like was the coffeemaker still had old coffee in it. I had to clean the pot out before using. Also, as I needed to find the plug for the pot behind the dresser, there was plenty of dust and dirt to reach through. Also, almost dead flies or bugs crawling on the floor. For $105 a night, I would probably not return.

This hotel needs to be updated. The vinyl floor in the bathroom is chipped and broken, It looks like they replaced the vanity top but ripped off plaster in the process. It has a popcorn ceiling, several stains in the carpet, old bedspread. However, it was clean, the bed comfortable, quiet. I called the hotel a couple times before my stay there and no one ever answered. No one was at the front desk when we checked out, not even when we rang the bell.

This was the worst hotel we have ever been too. The rooms smelt like smoke. The fridge smelt like something died in it and the bed sheets were spotted with dirt stains. Instead of staying over night, we left and drove the 2 hours back home. This place is disgusting

The whole building was in rough shape. Room was dusty. There was a red stain on the carpet. The stairs and hallways were dirty. Breakfast cereal was stale. Some of our party refused to stay. They drove over an hour home at 10pm. We stayed at this hotel with a wedding block.

The room was clean as far as bed, sink,tub. The carpet in room and halls was smelly and filthy. The tub/shower fixtures were coming out, replaced lights weren’t finished. We didn’t have a desk chair and the one chair was dirty velvet and you sunk to the floor. Bed mattress sunk down to the box spring. Breakfast is choice of 2 cereals, banana, and packaged mini rolls/muffins. No toast, juice or fresh baked goods. Out side had garbage, overflowing smoke bins, old furniture, and people sitting around smoking and playing loud music. The back door didn’t close so anyone could walk in. No one was ever at the front desk; but answered the phone.

The hotel is very run down. Mopboards detached from the walls. Handrail in stairwell is detached in the middle. Window screens ripped. Then there was our room. The smell was terrible! It smelled like a dirty ashtray sprayed with air freshener. It made me sick to my stomach and was so strong i couldn't sleep. The carpet in the room felt damp and sticky. My feet and socks got dirty just from walking around the room. The buttons on the air conditioner were broken. I was able to pysh my finger into the air conditioner far enough to make adjustments, but I feared I was going to get an electrical shock. i am amazed that Hotels.com, Super 8 and Windom would allow such a place to be associated with them! This place gives all three of these businesses a bad name! I can tell you without any reservations that i will NOT be doing any business with those 3 companies again unless I am assured changes have been made! The hotel is a disgrace to all theee companies. There are large potholes in the parking lot. There are old box springs piled by the dumpster. There are a couple of chairs near the back door, that we were told to use, that had a couple of scary looking people sitting in and smoking every time we came in or left.

The people in our party said their carpet was so dirty that it made their socks dirty just walking around. The room also smelled terrible, sort of like air freshner trying to cover up cigarette smoke, it was very noticeable.

Desk chair stained, rocker uncomfortable (old), carpet need of shampooing. Curtains unhooked and holes. Toilet tilted, shower/tub spouts loose. Bad tile work at sink. Too many wires into one outlet and a desk lamp unworkable. No staff to be found at 8:30am, so called the help number and it rang at the desk! Ceiling in lobby with hanging dust balls, lobby ceiling vent missing. Advertised for breakfast -- !!! pizza from yesterday am still on counter - milk spoiled - dry cereal and bananas were breakfast!! Maintenance issues top to bottom. Location is good, too bad that this site has not kept up with these very fixable issues.

At check in we were not greeted in a friendly manner, more like we were interrupting his day. He was not dressed in any uniform or anything casual he had on a white under shirt and reg pants. He also wore a nice hat because that’s what guests want to see. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly the toilet paper was left from last stay. The Toliet was dirty, constant smell of mold, TV wiring kept the causing the connection to go in and out, and there was no replenishing of breakfast even thou it was still within hours.

Front desk staff was great. Breakfast was totally lacking. :/. Bed was actually more comfortable than we thought it would be. Looks like some maintenance needs to be done in bathrooms. Would consider staying again of cost was cheaper due to the few issues at the hotel

Smoke filled room.
Our room smelled of smoke. Our belonging then smelled of smoke when we left (we are both non-smokers) The room was hot upon arrival and it took all night to finally cool off. The bathtub floor felt like it was going to fall through. The carpet was stained. The bedding was stained. Very glad we were there to sleep and leave.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! We couldn't even breathe in our room, because of the people that were smoking in their rooms. Also there was no one at the front desk, sign to call a number and the phone in the lobby didn't work. There was a gentleman that was locked out of his room and couldn't get ahold of anyone so I had to get my cell phone to call the number. Horrible service and facility!!
