Did not care for the check in lockbox---no staff to handle people checking in for the 1st time??--was unnecessarily confusing and stress producing. Also really miss a coffee machine in the room---dislike going down a hall to get a cup of coffee early in the morning---don't like meeting other people in their pajamas and don't feel like getting fully dressed to get a cup of coffee at 6 or 7 am. Asked for an 8am breakfast but it was moved to 8:30---didn't want to wait so left without it. Disappointing.

Hello Barbara, sorry you felt like we did not make your expectations. All the information on arrival and check out was communicated via Expedia message portal where you booked. Regarding breakfast, you did respond 8:30 AM and a hot breakfast was delivered to your room.. We have never offered in room coffee makers, instead a courtesy counter of several complementary beverages including a Keurig with varieties of coffee and teas. Sorry we are not a good fit for you. Our phones are forwarding as indicated on the signage, any issue to report we would have gladly accommodated if you care to try our facility again.

Very Nice Stay in Cudahy
Easy check- in experience. Parking was simple and very close to key retrieval. That's very convenient when it's cold outside. Location makes it easy to get to other spots in Milwaukee. If course, then you have the lake which is walking distance.

This was a very clean and pretty place to stay. Loved the coziness of the room. Not a lot around the area but if you are staying that way, definitely stay at Sheridans!

I stayed at the Sheridan Bed and Breakfast on Saturday the 22nd of October for my husband’s birthday and let me tell you- this has been the WORST experience of my life, staying anywhere- ever. From the time I booked it, I was sent via Expedia this message at Oct 22 3:11 PM “Respond accordingly: indicate time preference for breakfast (served to your room between 8 and 9 AM daily) including day of your departure. This service is included in your stay! Due to self-check-in for your safety and ours we are requiring a picture ID such as a Driver’s license, take a picture using your cell phone and forward to this email. After your response you will get another email with full details and instructions on how-to retrieve your guestroom keys.” I responded both on Expedia at Oct 22 3:15 PM with the totality of the information requested and sent my information to the email they included, which was jane@sheridansbnb.com I sent Jane an email on 10/22/22 at 4:28pm with my drivers license as well, my full name, my phone number, and my email address. While we were there, a table broke, the woman working the desk named Sarah, told us not to worry about it, and even offered to take it out of the room, she ensured us we would not be charged. I look at my bank today and they slammed me for $300 extra for this table, which is more than the room itself. This table broke from luggage being put on it and me leaning over the suitcase to put a shirt away. The owner is TERRIBLE. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Sheridan's was a beautiful place to stay. Decor was pretty and the surrounding parks are wonderful. It looks like the area is starting to get some options for dinner/bars. The neighborhood is cute and safe. I would say the only negative I would have was eating breakfast in the room was a bit awkward, a small bistro table maybe be more useful than the desk.

Highly recommend. We enjoyed our stay in the Bridal suite. The bed was huge and luxurious. The hot tub was fine. We didn’t figure out the fireplace remote. Breakfast was delicious and delivered right to our door when promised. We walked on a greenway in the nearby park, which was on Lake Michigan.

Overall it was fine. But their breakfast hours are very strict. I had a meeting at 8:30 am I requested a breakfast at 7:30 it was not possible. Next day they expected to give me again breakfast hours. They don’t have any place to have breakfast. I stayed B&B in other places never had to have my breakfast at my room. Breakfast is fine but it came for one person. They told me that Expedia reserved for one person. Whereas when I checked my reservation at Expedia it was for 2 persons. When I reserve with Expedia usually my correspondence is minimal with the hotel. But they kept on sending emails asking my ID, Address etc. overall it was very clean, quiet B&B. Their shower was outstanding. I am not sure if I would stay there again. It can be fine if you are on vacation but not for business trip in my judgment.

Dear Birsen: We do attract many of business travelers. Sorry you would not satisfied with our time offerings for delivery of breakfast. We make the food fresh and served to your door no earlier then 8am due to time restrictions on cooked food. We apologize we did not offer you a homemade muffin, granola bar or fresh fruit. We can do this when we cannot meet your departing time the day of arrival. Also, we hope you enjoyed the beverage counter which includes a variety of juices, soda, filtered water, coffee kcups and tea, and other refreshing drinks, which is available during your stay anytime.

The Sheridan is amazing. The outdoor patio was great and the breakfasts were to die for delicious! I stayed there last year and came back again. Only bad part is carrying your own suitcase up steps. They do warn you about that tho.

Nice room; would stay again. Breakfast comes with your stay: sweet and savory. Basically, you get one sweet breakfast and one savory breakfast (egg and bacon sandwich, and pecan French toast). No choice. We asked for no cheese for one of the breakfasts and that was accommodated. Oddly, there was also a side salad.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is cute and quaint and we appreciated the quiet and private atmosphere. We would have liked the opportunity to choose which Luxy room we wanted based on availability. Our biggest complaint was that many of the remotes/ candles had burnt-out batteries so we had to keep swapping the ones that did work when we wanted to use different remotes.

Dear Sharon, Though many boutique hotels may not give you the option to choose your guestroom,we would have booked your desired room if we had the opportunity, by calling direct. As far as the remotes, I am sorry the batteries died since we checked them last. However, replacement batteries were located right across the hall from your room. Once again, we always encourage guests to call our main number with any problems or concerns that may arise, at any time during your stay. We are always pleased to help! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sheridan’s in Cudahy WI. It was easy to get to and the building was so awesome. Our room was everything I thought it would be and I kept saying I wanted to take the bathroom home with me, just beautiful. The king bed and pillows were so comfortable. The staff were pleasant and so helpful and the breakfast each morning was delicious. We definitely will go back for another stay.
