Under construction so it’s a little dusty in shared areas, but that’s to be expected. The good: staff was really friendly, rooms were practically brand new and really clean, beds were comfortable, tv is huge for a hotel room. Not so good… just a little dusty everywhere, pool area had rocks everywhere, breakfast was not good and the temporary breakfast room was really dirty. Overall not bad for what’s available in the area! Would stay again if I had to be in the area again if the updates were finished and improved on the breakfast

We did not know prior to booking that it was under major construction. The pool was not open. No lobby area. Our room was nicely remodeled. Hot water was not available, at best one day of warm showers. The other day was cold. The staff was very nice.

Ungergoing renovation as they fall under IHG as Holiday Inn Express. Room renovations were nice, comfy beds, bathroom was amazing. It was an actual suite with a separate room. A couple of things I would fix, the shower in the bathroom had a rain like drizzle even when the knob was all the way down. There was nothing in the room (fan, etc) to muffle the highway noise or the people outside talking. The door closer needs to be fixed so that the doors don’t slam shut. At 4AM you could tell when people started to check out and over and over you could hear the doors down the hall slamming. The staff was super nice. I would stay here again.

From the time we walked in the door until the time we walked out the door, this was one of the best experiences we’ve had. Terry the desk clerk greeted us and was so friendly. He got menus from all the area restaurants when we asked for eating suggestions. We chose the bar/restaurant that is onsite. Food was delicious and staff was outstanding and friendly. Our room was perfect and super comfortable bed.

I wanted a nice relaxing night away from the kids and busy go go life, just one night of sleep to myself. The hotel was under construction and they started at 5:30am…. They should restrict their crews between 9a-5p….. terrible Super disappointed and a waste of money

When the hotel is under renovation…
We stayed here to attend a wedding in the area. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and is now a Holiday Inn Express. This was not told to us at the time of booking. We paid over $200 a night for our room and breakfast. Again, we were never told about a renovation. Here’s what we experienced: a breakfast in the lobby surrounded by black drop cloths. Not enough tables, really tight, food all prepackaged and not worth an up charge. Construction equipment visible. Workers arriving for the renovation projects of the day - we really felt like we were on a job site. Room: Not all outlets in our room worked. No protective cap on the smoke detector, not sure of it was functional yet. There was not enough soap in the soap dispenser (fortunately, I brought my own soap but seriously?). The fans in bathroom were not functional so the room fogged up fast after a shower and didn’t clear. All in all, if we had been advised of the renovation - AND THE ROOM RATE REFLECTED THE INCONVENIENCE- it might have been a better experience. Our first stay at a Holiday Inn property…probably our last. And definitely our last time using third party vendor like Hotels.com. This was pure and simple a rip off.

Property was under rehab, which I understand. However we were put in one of the newly rehabbed rooms. Sheets had stains and hair on them, toilet shook/wasn’t attached properly, there were shoe prints in the entryway area, stains from a leak at the front of the refrigerator, and the water didn’t get really hot, just warm-ish. It’s great that they’re fixing it up, but it needs a better cleaning service. Very disappointed, especially considering the price of the rooms. Will not stay there again.

They are remodeling the rooms, our room was on the 3rd floor and was already finished - very nice. Everything ran very smoothly, very organized. The restaurant was 5 feet away and the food was excellent.

Remodel of building is going on, so noise late into the evenings. Wall debris in and around the rooms. Carpeting on Stairs is filthy. The beds were so high off the ground I and two others could hardly get into them. I a 5'5" so not short and it was difficult for me.
