It's amazing in our travels around the U.S. that in California, specifically Milpitas and surrounding area, prices are triple and nothing is free. No free breakfast or bottled water. We were shocked that small bottles of water placed in our room were $2.50 a bottle. We went to the grocery store and bought two 6 packs of large water bottles and it still was 4 times less than the hotel. Hotel is not walking distance to restaurants and there was not a listing of local restaurants in the hotel. The attached restaurant was way over what we wanted to pay for small meals. I guess when you are in Silicon valley you pay the price.
I have stayed here several times and feel like it is a reasonably priced and reasonably accommodating hotel. I have never stayed on the third floor. This time I was on the third floor and the room was not as clean. It smelled like smoke. The toilet seat had ash burns on it. The shower curtain was moldy and the water flow was slower than on there floors. The tub backed up a little which is a peeve of mine. The staff is always pleasant and the location is near freeway access. Ask to be on a lower floor where the rooms seem to be maintained a lot better.
Had a comfortable stay in the hotel. Room was pleasant with all the amenities one needs. A bit cramped when you need to work as tight space between the bed and the work desk. Old type of TV though functioning. Good air conditioning. Front desk easy to contact and requests attended to. Wi-Fi can be improved. Had a bit of difficulty climbng the stairs with luggage to the 2nd floor as a bit steep and narrow. Was disappointed with the hotel's "Continental" breakfast - just one piece of pastry and coffee/tea.
This place was awesome. King size bed and a 32" tv. Even had a keurig coffee maker with all the fixins. Complimentary slippers and paul mitchell toiletries. The pool and grounds are beautiful and there is a nice coffee shop and lounge inside. Will definitely being staying here again
This diverse southern Bay Area city thrives on tech and retail business, including its colossal Great Mall of the Bay Area. At Milpitas Square shopping center, taste a variety of Asian cuisine, including dim sum, Taiwanese, and Cantonese dishes. For a hike or picnic, try the historic, 5.5-acre Higuera Adobe Park; Ed R. Levin County Park offers spectacular views from its Monument Peak.
