(932 reviews) This was the best decision for us, and literally saved us $2,000 on accomodation. We had a pool when it was hot, a roof and sun loungers, a gym, then in-room basic cooking and washing facilities, and aircon in both the sitting and bedroom areas. We were nice and cool for the heat wave. Our hosts were attentive and fast to respond to things (eg asked for more towels, more bowls). They also took advice on a couple of improvements. I was worried about noise, but with soft ear plugs I slept fine. It's a big city so is a bit noisy, but I couldn't hear the trains which was my main concern. It was a quick walk to everything: supermarket, coffee shop, tram, bus etc. If you want to have your basic needs met and save money, this is a great option. We stayed with our 21 year old daughter and she could go out as she wanted to see the nightlife, she was happy with our accomodations. If you don't mind a place where you get a service once a week (the housekeeping is not the same people as those who run the hotel), and your decor is a bit tired but completely clean and functional and it saves you a decent chunk of money?
