Cubby's Cove at Water's Edge Cabins

Welcome to the Cove, a fully-furnished suite nestled along the banks of our one-acre lake. Located in the lower level of our all-wood cabin, this suite has a fully furnished kitchen, complete with a full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave. We provide complimentary coffee, tea, popcorn, and delicious cookies.

No stay is complete without taking advantage of our outdoor grill, located on the 10'x24' deck overlooking the water. A picnic table is available on the large deck so you can enjoy an outdoor meal or two. You can also sit on the rocker swing and soak in the beauty surrounding you. One can easily fish along the log railing off the deck, or off the grass-covered banks close by. Fishing is free and the rods are provided, but please respect our catch and release policy.

Watch the stars come out while making s'mores over a campfire near the water, then go indoors and fall asleep to the night sounds in an Amish-crafted, queen log bed. Enjoy our nearby gas log stove that provides the Cove with a homey feel.

The Cove has a full bath with a shower and lovely pedestal sink, as well as a corner Jacuzzi, which sets under a window overlooking the beautiful water. Towels and washcloths are provided.

Cubby’s cove was wonderful for us and our dog. We loved the location to Berlin. Cabin was very clean. Communication with the host and onsite caretaker (Maria) was wonderful. Cubby’s has a great setting on the pond. Fire pit just a few steps away with wood provided and fishing gear too. Would definitely return to cubby’s or one of the other cabins at water’s edge.

Get away weekend

We loved our overnight stay in Berlin in this sweet cabin. It was exactly what we needed. The cabin is true to its name. It is at the water's edge, so peaceful and calm. The cabin was clean and updated. It was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Anniversary Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cabin. It was close to downtown and the shops and it was nice sitting on the porch in the morning drinking coffee and looking out over the lake.

Great cabin

Lovely cabin. Very clean and home decor touches are very nice. Fishing is right off of our deck since it sits right over the pond. Close to the main shopping area. Definitely coming back

We went to celebrate our 50th anniversary and could not have been more please with the accomodations! Neat and clean as a pin, tastefully decorated, we felt safe, little "extras" made the visit even more enjoyable! We highly recommend Water's Edge Cabin in Berlin, OH!

Beautiful & Cozy

My husband and I stayed at this cozy cabin for 2 nights with our little dog and it was so comfortable and perfect for us. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had coffee pods, coffee makers and the things we needed to cook our meals. My husband caught many fish right off the deck! We will return!

Great location, close to antique stores. Very relaxing. Note there are 2 floors, so you dont have the whole cabin to yourself, there is an upstairs and downstairs (not connected or accessible to each other). Will book again!!

The perfect getaway weekend.

It was my girlfriend's and my birthday. We booked a two night stay, was allowed to arrive a little early. The stay was fantastic. The cabin is cozy. The gas fireplace is wonderful. The jacuzzi tub was enjoyable. We ended up contacting the owner and booked a third night and extended our stay into Monday morning.

Very nice cabin.

Very views. Wife enjoyed feeding the fish. Close to all stores. Didn’t know there was an upper and lower to this cabin till I got my code to enter cabin the day before arrival and it said lower on the email. It was still nice and enjoyed it.

Mini vacation

Overall we both loved the cabin. It was so peaceful and so relaxing. The pond was the best as we caught many fish and got to see the big orange fish twice. The only thing we didn't like was how the fire put was right under a tree. We didn't feel right to have a fire at all which we were both looking forward to. Overall we will definitely stay again.

We celebrated our 1 year Anniversary in the most relaxing comfortable quiet serenity way! My husband said it was the most relaxed he’d been in a long time! From our morning coffee on the deck to a peaceful dinner out! He even enjoyed my little shopping trip! It was hard to leave & go back to reality! We are already planning for next year! Thank goodness ou for a memorable time!

They are constructing FOUR more LARGE cabins and a garage on the one beautiful serene lot. It will never be quiet and quaint again - plus we booked 2 days.. cant check in till 4 and have to out by 11. It should be a 24 hr time. Arrive at 4 pm and not have to leave until 4 pm.
