      Comfortable Space in Gorgeous Setting

We showed up after sunset and were wonderfully surprised to have a movement light turn on to help us get the key. The house was clean and comfortable. There were enough linens and the showers had good water pressure. We brought some groceries along and good thing, as there was not much in the pantry. We left a few of our staples: kosher salt, peppermill, olive oil, cooking spray, etc. We were notified about a possibly leaking dishwasher, but that didn't happen on our watch. The wifi worked great and we all enjoyed the space using our devices. The fireplace was a favorite and helped the game nights be even more fun! It was close to everything we wanted to do. Muir Woods hiking was our family's favorite thing to do outside of the home. We booked seats on the shuttle in Sausalito and spent the day getting lost in the tree canopy. It was gorgeous! The beds were nicely made and sheets were clean. Mattresses seemed soft, but we have Tempurpedic at home, so I don't think the comparison is too fair; but for those that want to know. There were enough dishes, knives and cookware to make a hearty breakfast, cinnamon rolls, roast vegtables, etc. for our whole family. We would definitely stay again and loved the location.

Great space and everything we needed!

The house was in great condition. The area is very quaint and on a quiet road. Everything was super clean. We had two young toddlers with us and they had a good amount of space inside for the days we needed to stay inside (due to smoke). The deck is by far my favorite. The redwoods on the property and surrounding us were amazing. Overall good location and close to everything we wanted to see!

          Okay value

This is a nice house in a good location. There are things in the description that I would not agree with. For instance, the "fully equipped and well stocked gourmet kitchen" had an outdated oven, a very tired coffee maker, and a broken dishwasher (it worked but was a struggle to load due to broken drawer wheels). We were left only one half roll of paper towels, and one dish towel. There were no items to preserve food such as Saran Wrap or aluminum foil. I suggested to the owner that food wrap would be a nice addition and his reply was "I'll keep that in mind", which suggests to me it's not going to happen in the future or he didn't care about my dilemma. We are conscientious renters who like to keep the place we rent tidy, but we had no tools to do that with and no time or interest in spending money on items like paper towels. We were three families, two with four small children, which added another $240.00 to the cost . The place to sleep these kids was an entertainment room with no door and also would take away the entertainment for the adults if the kids slept there. We had two portable cribs, a pack and play, and improvised a bed on the floor for our five year old grandson. This is described in case you want to put kids there. I was happy Brent replied quickly to my inquires and did let us check in early. (although on the flip side we were not able to stay the third night). On our end we did do what he requested such bring in his Amazon delivery and take out the recycle and trash. A few minor tweaks would make this an awesome place to stay!

          4/5 Good
