First time staying in a hotel that had solid floors vs. carpet, and the ceiling was painted bricks. Was not very cozy or welcoming. Bathroom seemed run down/had some spider webs in the corner and there were weird water noises coming from the pipes/walls all night that never stopped. Not very loud water noises, but you could hear them every time you were in the bathroom. It got the job done but would not stay here again. Staff was generally pretty nice besides front desk staff checking in someone else under my name on accident before I arrived (the manager fixed this issue thankfully and I was not double charged).

I guess it’s my fault but was far from Penn State (again I knew this before booking). WiFi problems day one but was resolved the day after. Overall though, was good. I didn’t spend too much time there as I was there to visit psu (most of my time was there). But sleep was quiet and cold (i like cold rooms). I’d say 8/10

Staff was awesome, very kind & polite. However, be aware that the property hasn’t been updated since the 1980s. It was as clean as they could make it, just shabby and not in a chic way.
