We had an event that took place at the hotel. We only stayed 1 night. The only issue we encountered was at approximately 4:30 am the fire alarm went off and we had to be evacuated. A little disruptive.

A night in Milford

Well, I must say that the hotel itself is excellent!! The amenities are just great and room comfort is outstanding. The breakfast was wonderful and free wifi and availability of computers excellent. Now the staff that's another story. I arrived extremely tired from having a long drive. I arrived when a person was finising checking in. I stood there 10 minutes until the girl acknowledged me. Before that she just kept socializing with the guest...no apology....no "I'll be right with you" I finally took a seat in the lobby as I figured it would be a long wait. It was. Check in was efficient but I didn't need to wait the extra 15 minutes. Now the restaurant. I hate ordering food only to have the customer service person react to a work commnnt from a fellow employee and interrupt what I was saying. Then I had to repeat everything because apparently she wasn't paying attention. I think the customer should be given full attention. Ok. So much for my comments

1 night stay

Hotel was fine, clean, good location for what we needed. Paid $150 for the night which is a bit high for the area. Average is usually around $110-120/night. Could use some updating. Had housekeeping knocking at our door around 9 am even though checkout wasn't until 11 and we had the do not disturb sign on our door.

Boston Marathon

Stayed here the night before the Boston Marathon. The restaurant had a pasta special which was fantastic and a lot to offer for pre-race breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful with race and shuttle information. Rooms were very clean.

Sisters Night

I love Courtyard by Marriott, they have the most comfortable beds and bedding. The pool was extremely cold though.

Convenient, friendly desk staff, but change needed

Front desk staff was very friendly. Housekeeping was spotty. Multiple day stay. Room was not serviced the 1st day at all. 2nd day it was serviced, but did not appear to have been vacuumed. 3rd day vacuumed, but some pieces of popcorn that fell on the floor were still there. Soundproofing was a problem. Despite the hotel being nearly empty, most guests were in the same area of the hotel. People talking in the hall could be heard very clearly in the room. Guests letting their doors close were loudly heard in the room. This was a problem early in the morning. On the plus side, the room drapes were very effective at darkening the room. The bathtub drain was broken, so it would not close if you wanted a bath instead of a shower. Cabinet around mini-fridge was pretty worn. No plug-ins next to bed, they across the room on a desk. TV was located to the right of the bed. Room layout should have been changed to orient the bed better facing desk/TV and bedside plugs for cell phone charging should be added.
