The room itself was nice and clean. The noise from pipes in rooms upstairs at night was ridiculously loud and woke me up a number of times. We walked around the local area a little and were surprised to find rotting rubbish on the street. The hotel is well- situated for the metro, which is great. I found one of the breakfast staff rude which soured the stay.

Staff were really helpful. Room was cleaned daily and place is right in front of the subway. We were also able to check in early. Great hotel to stay in Milano.

Inside clean but outside disgusting
Clean, quiet and comfortable bed. Near train station and their are 1 shopping mall and 1 Lidl supermarket. Surrounding area is very poor and dirty. Feels like unsafe area. Lots of dump garbage and broken furniture on the street. There is nothing to do after dark.

You can expect a standard hotel, but don't expect a fair play of hotel staff. They are doing all just take money from quests. Lying to customers about fix taxi price (in order to sell their drivers), not room service as they promised...

Check in made easy. The reception staff was nice and friendly and very attentive as well. A special shout-out to the attendant at the bar during the dinner time. Not sure what his name was but he was super friendly and quick with his service. I struggled with the language barrier in ordering but he was very kind.

Wonderful helpful staff on Reception. Room great with cimfortable bed and no noise disturbance ar night. Directly opposite Metro so no problem in finding. The surrounding area is not great no shops or restaurants but only about 10mins by metro into Milan.

Stay experience with Starhotel
We stayed with Starhotel Venice just before the stay here in Starhotel Milan. Though there are both starhotel, but we prefer the service and the room in Venice. We were assigned to the room which seems not fully prepared for 2 pax to stay? Only 1 towel, 1 bath role, etc (quite a lot of items are prep in 1 pax). Anyway the room is quite, we've enjoyed it very much. The stay is just infront the Metro, which makes travel very easy especially it's the last station (for now), so you are almost guarantee to get a seat when onboard. Receptionist was nice to speak with, very friendly and helpful team. They have a bar for you to chill too. Overall we recommend this hotel.

Overall I would've expected better
I have a bit of a mixed review for this hotel, as there were numerous things we liked, and also many things we didn't like at all. I'll detail them below: Things we liked: the room is a pretty good size and the bathroom was spacious and clean, with a nice area to do hair/makeup for my partner. Bed was fairly comfortable, but definitely could have been better. There's a lot of seating areas in the room we picked, including a sofa in front of the bed as well as a place to lay your suitcase and some extra chairs. Things we didn't like: First of all, you have to pay for parking (14 euros per night). It's actually the first 4-star hotel we've ever stayed at in any country where parking at the hotel was not included- this put us off a bit, as even 2 and 3-star hotels give free parking on site. Room service wasn't very good, as our pizza was completely undercooked on one side and had raw bits of cheese. There are also no electrical outlets at all anywhere near the bed, so if you are having to wake up super early to an alarm like we had to, you'll need to run across the room to turn it off. The bed could've been a lot more comfortable and also the Wifi was not very good and was very spotty (so I don't recommend staying here for business). Thin walls & you hear people in other rooms easily. Overall, we did expect better for a 4-star hotel and for the price we paid for it, as in other western European countries we've visited, the price we paid gives you a night at a 5-star hotel.

Enjoyed our 17 night stay in clean, modern hotel. Metro station right in front which made easy access to Milan train stations and tourist sites. Lidl reasonable food market and shopping mall was five minutes away. Breakfast was good with wide variety of warm and cold options. Housekeeping was superb and shower pressure was amazingly powerful, like going through a car wash. Double pane windows kept outside noise to minimum. Would definitely stay here again and consider other StarTourist hotels in other

Breakfast is so good. But the room too small, there was no space to even open the luggage. The shower is also very tiny, there is no room to turn around. The service was good and the lobby looks very nice.
