Great position for canals , bars & restaurants.

This is not your average kind of hotel - more like small apartments. Room & decor are very dated but clean & comfy. The guy on Reception was the most friendly & helpful we met whilst in Italy ! Thank you.

Dear Stuart thank you so much for writing this nice experience online . we really appreciate it. Our Aparthotel born in late 80ies and in some rooms we kept the original furniture ( some Guests told us vintage rooms are nice) ...mainly of our rooms are newly decorated. The room where You slept your only 1night in milan where over looking the garden so very quiet. Clean & comfy & quiet is what the majiority of our Guest is looking for. yes it is correct Our staff is well trained and very polite . best regards Luigi - Owner

Excellent value

Posted 25-Oct-2016
Pros: Room was clean comfortable and well appointed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Basket of fruit and water cooler in the room was a nice touch
Cons: It might have been nice to have coffee making facilities.
Location: Well placed for the Naviglio area with its many bars and restaurants. Ignore the graffiti, it's a nice area.

Convenient for all tourist spots but quiet

Posted 17-Oct-2016
Pros: The room offered a kitchenette with crockery and cutlery for two as well as a fridge, kettle and microwave so we were able to make breakfast & drinks.
Cons: There was a hob but no pots & pans so it couldn't be used.
Location: About a mile from all the sights of Milan - we managed the 20 minutes' walk easier but could have chosen to ride a few stops on the Metro.
We had been a little apprehensive about this hotel as it was near to the night life area around the Navigli but we need not have worried. It was really quiet even on Saturday night when the surrounding streets were rammed with people, music and bars.

Dear Joanna thank you so much for sharing this wonderful experience online. regarding kitchenette use pleased to inform that all our rooms has a kitchenette if Guests like to use it just need to ask at our always kind and available staff that can provide all necessaries. usually who book a queenroom with city view (like you) is because no need to use the kitchen... so that is the reason no pots or pans where provided into your room. best regards

Avoid! Misleading pricing , Rude management!

Posted 12-Oct-2016
Initially, the adverts for this hotel look very enticing and good value, but beware of the very inflexible management, inflexible booking system and added costs of staying here. Extra fees for room cleaning! deposits for everything and dont dare question or ask for anything different or you receive threats and abuse!

Dear All , we suggest to read before making a reservation . all information are clearly listed online .non refundable rooms are cheaper then standard rooms but indeed have no flexibility. we are very well known worldwide for the high quality of our services and for the kindness of our staff . i think you refer to some other property. best regards

Great base to explore milan

Posted 07-Oct-2016
Pros: Friendliness of staff Great base to explore Milan
Cons: Mattress a bit lumpy
Location: Near Navigli, great atmophere and plenty of choice for eating out
Very warm welcome. Staff extremly helpful, from the moment we arrived well before check in time by having prioritised preparing our room to a genuine send off at the end of our stay. Great location near the Navigli, on a quiet road. public transport, both metro and tram close by. Small kitchenette in the room was useful, and a nearby supermarket providing provisions.

Excellent Stay in Milano Navigli Area

Posted 02-Oct-2016
Pros: Location, room size, staff attentiveness, bed comfort.
Cons: The bed was very comfortable, but had slats under the mattress that would always fall out. Probably unique to this bed in this room. Easy to fix.
Location: Navilgi area with eating and sitting outside by canal. Weekend markets, shopping, Duomo and castle area.
Best international hotel stay I've had in a long long time. We were made to feel more like family than hotel guests. Willy took care of every need, often bending over backwards to do so. The hotel is not the most modern or well decorated location, but it had a very homey feel, like I was staying at a friend's house. The room (apartment, really) was quite spacious, with a full kitchen. It was located in a very charming part of town, five minutes or less from the canals and many restaurants. A nice twenty minute walk to the Duomo area or the Castle. Easy access to the metro and/or trams at Pt. Genova.

Excellent location, good functional room

Posted 13-Sep-2016 on Hotels
All in all we had a great time staying at Luigi's residence. Recent refurbishment is good. Location is fantastic for walking to Navigli, the canal area with lots of nightlife and restaurants. Also, great to walk to historical sites such as Duomo (20mins) and museums etc. 5 mins walk to the Metro too if you prefer not to walk. Only warning is to be careful to check on extras. What you may assume are included in other bookings may not be here. E.g. although the room includes a basic kitchen, if you use it, you will be charged a daily cleaning fee. Also, if you have a baby who needs a crib, there is a daily 40eur charge for the crib. While it was clear on the booking form (in hindsight), it is something that I missed. Very happy with the residence and location.
