Very comfortable, close to trains and metro
We had a quick two-day stay in Milan at the end of a trip through Europe. Getting to the hotel was easy: you can see the hotel from the east exit of Milano Centrale station, and it's a 90-second walk door-to-door (through the taxi hire area). We chose the hotel primarily so we could get to the airport for an early flight via the Malpensa Express. The restaurant selection in the area is limited, but there is a metro stop in the train station, and you can be in the city centre (and all of its wonderful restaurants) in under 15 minutes.
The rooms were the nicest we saw during our time in Europe. Although the hotel had an 80s feel to it in terms of the design, colours, and wood panelling, everything was well-maintained and clean. Beds were firm but quite comfortable. TV had a wide selection of international channels (including several in English). Wifi was fast. The large bathroom had a nice shower and his-and-hers sinks. The room even had two pairs of slippers for use.
We got our hotel room on sale. If the price is right, I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Milan.
