Good location, brilliant breakfast, good sized room. No tea coffee facilities in room and no air con which meant we had to keep the window open and the traffic/tram was noisy.
This hotel is a quick walk to the Milano Centrale station. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast had lots to choose from, eggs, sandwich meats, yogurt and different pastries. I would definitely recommend or stay here again. Thank you!
The front staff was rude when I asked about the hot water, which there was none. His response was oh well you are the only one that has said anything. Not, let me get someone to look at that for you. This property is too far from the action as well.
Overall, a fine hotel, with an excellent breakfast. Rooms are very clean but basic. No tissue, no cup in the bathroom, just 3 very flimsy plastic cups. Beds are very comfortable. Front desk personnel are professional but not overly friendly.
After a long trip into Milan, we appreciated the very friendly and helpful staff. In particular we enjoyed the laidback rooftop bar with the great view and super nice bartender, Thanks
The Marconi is in the business district, which leads to lots of great restaurants and shops during the day, but it's much quieter at night. And bizarrely empty on Sunday. But, it's close to Central station, steps from the trolley and the Metro station. 5 minutes on the Republica line will land you in the center of Milan. Rooms are spare but comfortable.
Great hotel, 10 min walk from Milano Centrale Station. We had a triple room which had lots of space, huge shower room and a street view.
Room and hotel were very clean, (including the sheets and towels being renewed every day which we didn't understand and did not know how to stop). Staff were very helpful and it was great to have a breakfast included in the price.
Plenty eating options, transport options and selection of essential shops close by.
Marconi hotel surprised us with a very nice staff and the amazing roof top bar and view. In addition, it is a very easy access from train station and subway.
Pros: close to train station, solid breakfast buffet included, incredible water pressure in the shower. Quiet, clean
Cons: mattress was softer than we like, not many outlets in the room to charge our devices, the room wasn’t ready when we checked in (at 330) and the key cards kept not working.
Even though we arrived early- 12:30 pm- our room wasn’t ready. Ok. I understand. But until 3:15 when we are told that check-in is at 3 pm, my husband witnessed a minimum of 5 other couples check into their rooms.
There was trash on the tables in the lobby. After we came back down later that evening, the same trash still there.
It would be great if the hotel had a box of Kleenex in the rooms.
Great breakfast.
Very nice, charming hotel. Great breakfast, nice rooftop bar. Easy 10 min walk to Central Station. The wifi needs an upgrade. Would strongly recommend.
The staff were super friendly and we loved the room. Unfortunately we were only in Milan for one night, we would have loved to stay longer. The room was very large, bed very comfortable, updated bathroom, huge shower. Add to this that it’s a short walk to the train station and a Metro stop a little over a block away and a tram line going past the hotel you have e an easy way to get out and do what you need to in Milan.
We liked it. The room was not large but they didn’t advertise it as a big one. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, we ate enough at it to keep us going until dinner. Very close to the main train station and not a far walk (maybe mile and a half?) to the Duomo. There was a wonderful diner across the street where you could get sandwiches, coffee, etc. We ate one night at a great Brazilian place down the street, but then you never know if restaurants will still be around when you write these reviews. I thought a good value for the money
Had a wonderful stay at the Marconi. Staff was friendly, location was very convenient, room was clean, and the breakfast spread was generous. I would definitely recommend.
