Great stay. Very affordable. Clean hotel, staff okay. The subway is about a 8 min walk away - so quite convenient. The surrounding area is a little rundown, but I felt completely safe. Would recommend to those who want a convenient, affordable hotel.

Handy to the Loreto metro station. We like this older hotel and building and neighbourhood. It is central, so still has lots of noise and action nearby, but is situated on a park a few blocks away. Breakfast was continental style, and with several options. Like last time, we found that the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful.

This was the fourth hotel in Italy we stayed at and this was the only one that didn't give us advice of the city or a map. The photos are very deceiving. Upon arrival we felt as though the gentlemen at reception could have made a better effort greeting us as he was very brief and robotic. According to the hotels official website it has 'recently been refurbished ' but as we entered our room we soon realised this wasn't true. For example, door frames were hanging off, hairs on the bed and the floor, cleanliness of the bathroom was disgusting (mould in the shower, limescale everywhere in the toilet and around the tap), toilet seat was cracked in two places and discoloured and the sliding door to the bathroom looked as if it had been kicked in. We did go down to reception the following morning to raise our concerns about the cleanliness and the receptionist said they couldn't move us into a different room as they were fully booked but insisted a maid will do a thorough clean that day. However, as we returned later that night, we felt all they did was mop the floor. Breakfast was poor in my opinion. There was a wide variety of cakes and biscuits but the coffee was tasteless, water, milk and juices were warm, the cooked food they did have was cold and they never replaced table cloths after someone had left the table so stains and crumbs were still present for the next guest. Nonetheless, the bed was comfortable and they had a bowl of sweets at reception.

Hotel Florence was great for an affordable stay in Milan within walking distance to the train systems. The breakfast was nice and the staff was kind.

A nice hotel in Loreto [Milan]
This was the second time that I stayed at Hotel Florence and it was a pleasant stay. I had a spacious single room with a view over the parklands. The hotel staff were helpful and polite. When I was leaving early in the morning a breakfast pack was arranged for me . I would stay at this hotel if I ever visited Milan again

Hotel Florence not far from Central.
Hotel Florence was a short distance from Loreto metro station. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The single room was spacious enough for one person with a large bathroom,.WiFi was strong and worked well.The negative about the room was the lack of news channels in English. There was a nice tasty breakfast with a very good choice of hot and cold food. If I traveled to Milan again I would stay at Hotel Florence and I would recommend to friends and family.

If you have to be in Milan, this is the place!
Nice, safe, quiet place to stay. Short walk to main streets, tram line, good value. Friendly staff. Clean well-appointed facility. Great breakfast.

Unpleasant stay
Very Unpleasant reception upon arrival, the first time we encountered this in our six week trip across Europe. Left a bad taste in mouth for the short stay. Extremely small hotel room the smallest bathroom in Italy. Stayed one night and moved elsewhere in Milan.

Speedy and friendly check-in. Very clean. Perfect location. Our room and balcony were right above the entrance. Enjoyed the views from the balcony. A short walk to Corso Buenos Aires and you can get everything you need.

Great central hotel in Milan close to metro
Check in was quick and lady behind the counter couldn't be more helpful. Room is of an excellent size,clean and air con is lovely in the current heat. Shower is great and bed is very comfy. Quick and easy walk to the metro making it brilliant for getting around Milan. Only Downside is the toilet seat is loose which goes to show minimal complaint about the hotel!

Not so close to the metro, no hospitality
Although it is marketed as being located 2 minutes from the metro station, in reality there are 7-10 min, depending on how heavy the luggages are and how hot the weather is. 2 minutes means that you go out from the metro station and you find the hotel relatively easy and quick. Not with this hotel, as there are few streets and traffic lights until the hotel. At the hotel, even we have requested a room located at a lower level, we have received a room in the attic. Everything fine, unless we had two heavy luggag and the lift was functioning only up to the third room. We complained about our luggage being heavy and the absence of the lift, but the receptionist shrugged his shoulders and felt pity for us, but no other help. The room was small and uncomfortable, yet it was clean. When we thought the distance from the metro and the stairs were the biggest problems, we woke up in the middle of the night with water pooring on our face. There was a t-storm outside, heavily raining and the water was pooring directly on our bed. The breakfast has a good choice of products if you are very lucky to be the first to come. Otherwise, the plates are empty and the lady who takes care of the breakfast is very reluctant and bothered if you suggest her to refill them. So, if you don’t prefer mortadella and salsiccia and sweets, you may leave without seeing a boiled egg or a cherry tomato. In conclusion, the position who attracted us was disappointing, the hospitality is not known or not applic

It was good, clean. Close to the subway. Breakfast was good. Staff was ok considering how rude europeans are. There is a little restaurant a block away supet good. The ower was awesome.

Booked the hotel about 6 weeks before our stay, requesting a quiet room. We were given probably the noisiest and shabbiest room in the hotel. Went to reception to ask for another room but told hotel was full. Receptionist was not helpful at all. Also the room safe didn't work but the receptionist was 'too busy' to help. Had the worst sleep experience that night with traffic noise. Fortunately there was a nicer receptionist on duty the following morning who did manage to move us to a nicer and more quiet room.

Nice and convenient!
The hotel was nice and the front desk and bar staff were very nice and helpful. The location only a few blocks from Loreto and the Milan Metro to get all over town. I will definitely look to stay here my next trip to Milan and recommend it to friends traveling to Lombardy!

Hotel close to the metro, not far from the city ce
The stuff was very polite and helped us with all that we needed, breakfast was ok, the room was clean but small, especially the bathroom. The room also looked different in the photos when we booked. The reception was 24 hours open, and the hotel was in a convenient location close to the metro.

Perfect hotel for our quick trip
Spent one night here whilst we had a quick visit to Milan. Brilliant location, just 2 minutes walk to the underground. Room was well presented & perfect for what we needed.

Actually the breakfast buffet offers both continental ( bread, croissants, cakes, cookies, frit jam ) and intercontinental food ( grilled bacon, boiled eggs vegetables, legumes, cured meats and in certains perios pan cakes). Beyond peas you had a lot of choice. Finally we bealive that part of the beauty of travelling is to find different habits and flavors to the one we are used to. Kind regards

Getting Inter Milano!
Great hotel for what we were looking for - an economical, comfortable hotel in a quiet, yet well-located area. Just a 15-20 walk into Milan City Centre with a GREAT breakfast and parking available. Recommend to those looking for something similar.
