Correct, no luxury but acceptable. Great service.
Hotels in Milan are way overpriced for the Salone week. This hotel was as well, even if out of the beaten path and a bit rundown. The SLOWEST elevator EVER, I used it only once. WiFi was also very unreliable and slow. Problem with the safe in room couldn't be solved. Another issue was people smoking outside my window (building back exit), but I guess escaping smokers in Italy is not easy. Service however is great, attentive and helpful staff that really try to do their best to help, thanks for that.

Visit to Florence
The hotel is closer to the industrial and financial side of the city. To visit the historic city and centre it’s a couple of stops away on the underground. The hotel was basic but clean and comfortable.

A little out of Milan !!!
Nice place to stay Adrianna receptionist very friendly and helpful .shuttle transfer buses leave from airport terminal bus 1 to ask to be dropped at viale Teodorico walk to the large island take a 1st left to viale certosa would help if bus driver was helpful. !! Look for the sign media world right opposite hotel and near the M3flyover . 90 and 91 buses to republic central Milan railway .Tram 14 takes you to duomo !!! Loads of bars and piazza portello shopping center where you can have a wine 3euros in supermarket great place to get food and also restaurants near by .although on the outskirts of main city great choice the certosa hotel .

Nice hotel if you’re looking to just sleep, we were hoping to be able to open our curtains to have fresh air but were right above a dumpster so we had to keep the window closed, as well as didn’t feel safe in the area unless window was closed. Hotel staff was nice, walls are a little thin. We could hear the next room over taking and watching tv We just used as a place to sleep after our flight before catching the train in the morning

Only real snag is walls seemed to be quite thin as could hear a bit from other rooms and outside (overlooking rear car park) other than that, clean, tidy rooms, helpful staff.

Could have been cleaner, the sheets smelled chemically, bed was very uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood was good and safe.

Great for a few days trip
Amazing location, just next to the tram N1 that takes you downtown and the Malpensa Shuttle bus is a few blocks down. The rooms were excellent and the staff helpfull and friendly. I've got no remarks.

Lovely hotel
The room was clean. Breakfast was good. It would have been nice to have at least 1 English TV channel. The Young Lady (Kyara - maybe spelling is wrong)at reception was great in directions and telling us how to get around and checking us in hassle free. The room could have done with a few more working globes though. I understand it is not European Hotel standard but a kettle in the room would have been great for tea or coffee.

Receptions were nice. The room eas clean, the only problem was with the shower, something was broken so the water came out of the shower place and made the whole bathroom wet and full of water. The lication was not good because it was far from the city center and historical places.

I spent one night in this hotel. There is no place to park the car unless you park on the street. It was everywhere full, so I had to park in the private garage next to the hotel. Costs were pretty high. Neighbourhood was not really nice. Room was clean and spacious, but bed was really uncomfortable. I had impression that I sleep on the big potato bag. Bathroom clean and spacious, but shower cabin very small. There was no glasses in the bathroom. Heating in the bathroom was good but in the room was a bit cold. I had to use additional blankets during the night. During the night you can hear occasionally some noise from some steel door. Wasn't sure what was that. But finally I was happy about breakfast. I still have the taste of fresh croissants in my mouth. In general this hotel wasn't super comfortable but for the price they ask shouldn't be better.

Room is large.
The largest room that I have for my stay in Italy. Shower room is small like all other Italy hotels. Not near metro. However, there is a paid shuttle to airport within 15 mins walk.

As the plumbing of our room toilet was not working, and as there was no other room free in the hotel, we were moved to Hotel Bogart 2. It was a plain, simple hotel.

Home away from home
A small family run hotel outside of the downtown core, but well worth the stay. Staff is well trained, speak English and (in most cases) the day staff are extremely happy and go out of their way to assist with directions and recommendations. The rooms are basic but comfortable and very clean. Shower stalls are rather small and could use grab bars. Breakfast is excellent for a 3-star hotel. It includes freshly brewed coffee or tea per your request, fruit juices, fresh fruit, cereals, eggs, sausages, cheese and sliced Deli meats, several types of rolls and croissants, cakes and more. We stayed 5 days in this hotel.

Rock hard bed
We stayed here for 5 nights as it was close to the conference centre. The hotel is a very basic 3 star. The bedroom was a good size but the bed was solid, rock hard and very uncomfortable. They had different power points to the standard European and we had to ask for a conversion plug which they gave reluctantly. The staff were never overly friendly and their English was basic. I requested several times if they would post a post card, but each one refused. They told me to go to the next street but could not give me exact directions; I never found it. On the website it stated there was laundry facilities, there wasn't . We eventually did get to borrow an ironing board and iron. Breakfast was very basic European, not to the Aussie palate. The tram out the front was convenient for getting into the city and one stop the other way to a good shopping centre. Overall, not a very enjoyable stay and not recommended.

Friendly staff and OK location.
The room was clean, but the bed was not comfortable, and the A/C was not working. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was above average. The location was OK, close to a tram line that took us to the Duomo in about 20 minutes. Overall, good value for the price.

A gem of a hotel
The photos don't do it justice. Excellent quality décor and furnishings. Good breakfast and excellent, efficient, friendly staff. It's a bit out of the centre but a scenic, cheap ride on a vintage tram. Neighbourhood has plenty of cheap non touristy, friendly bars. But why put a minute shower cubicle in a massive bathroom? And why no quilts - just sheet and blanket?

Good Value Hotel
Excellent service. Easily accessed by public transport. Clean and comfortable. Good options for breakfast. Safe and convenient neighbourhood with supermarket and restaurants nearby. No issues.

Hotel that match quality with price
We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. When we arrived the reception welcome us warmly. We got the room as we booked, Teile room plus extra bed. The price we paid matched very well with the quality expected. We like the breakfast very much. We also like the location since it is quite when we stayed there. It is also not to far from the centre. There is public transport in front of the hotel. Overall we like staying at this hotel and will definitely stay in this hotel next time

We hired a triple room for 1 night only and we really didn't care too much! It was clean, with nice single beds and spacey bathroom. Just ok. The tram outside takes you downtown. However, I made this booking by using my membership points with this site and the value was really good. I am not sure if I would've been happy with that hotel if I have payed the full price.

So-So 2-3 star hotel
Front desk and breakfast people were friendly and helpful. The room was tiny with very small bed and tiny shower. Breakfast included just cold buffet with cereal, bread/rolls, cheese, meats, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea. My room flooded twice from rain coming in through very high windows that had been opened by hotel staff before I come to the room -- found out afterwards that there is an electric switch on the wall that would close the windows. Man at front desk did come up promptly to clean up the flood. Free wireless in rooms, but it went in and out, especially with outages in evenings. Extremely slow elevator, but it encourages one to get in a little exercise taking the stairs. Not much available in the neighborhood, but very convenient to bus and tram lines. On a busy street, but I had requested a room in the rear, and I had no problem with noise. Overall, an inexpensive hotel for Milan that is clean and serviceable, but very Spartan.

Good for conference centre
I stayed here as a reasonably priced hotel near to the conference centre which included breakfast. The staff were all friendly, and it was only a 15 minute walk to MiCo. Breakfast was hearty too. Only slight complaint was that walls seemed very thin so it was noisy at times.

Nice simple hotel, reasonably priced
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful - all spoke good English. Nice simple breakfast - great espresso. Clean and spacious. Only complaint is that the mattress was thin and hard, although it was actually reasonably comfortable. Milan is expensive - Hotel Certosa was a good value. Near 19 and 14 trams that get you to downtown. Duomo about a 50 min walk. Milan Congressi 10-15 min.

Nice place
Nice hotel just a short tram ride to all the sights in Milan. The parking is limited but you can park on the curb right across from the hotel for free rather then paid parking in the garage. The reception was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was AMAZING. Thanks for the nice stay!

Totally worth the money
The staff is really friendly and helpful! They speak English!! The breakfast couldnt be better! Could wish for nicer way of our staying. The room was big and clean, just like the bathroom. Every day we got new towels and they cleaned the room. We were really satisfied with everything!

Great Clean place with excellent WiFi
The hotel looked great and the wifi signal was strong and it was free. Easy access to freeway for airport getaway. The only thing is that I didn't see subway nearby, so might be tricky if not taking taxis. Reception was friendly and he had our taxi waiting for us when he said he would.

Very friendly staff. There is not a great deal of choice for breakfast, but overall I would say this is a good place to stay if you want a very clean room and to be near the Milan conference centre (only a 15 minute walk from the hotel).

The hotel is in a good location to MiCo, the rooms are clean, the staff is pleasant. The only thing that would add point to hotel is availability of ironing facilities, computer access. At all impressions are good.

good for car rental
Nice, average hotel which I chose because it was next door to Hertz car rental. So easy. Across the street was Saturn, a huge tech store with anything and everything. We bought cheap phones and sim cards there. Bancomat one block away. Rather a long tram ride to the center of Milan (cathedral) but easy enough and pleasant. I would recommend for these reasons, not if you want posh.
