Check-in was fabulous! It was fast, and we were kindly given a map of the area. The receptionist took the time to point out all of the various sights on the map, told us how long it would take to walk into town, where the nearest metro was and even recommended a place with good pizza. Awesome service!
The room left a few things to be desired. It was as though efforts were made to upgrade the quality of the room, but they got tired halfway through. There was a nice shower - artsy gray tile woith rocks along the base where the water drained, but the bathroom "door" was made of two pieces of particle board painted black and hinged together. The toilet had no flushing mechanism, just a dial on the wall that opened the water valve to allow water to flow into the toilet bowl.
There was a roof-top outside area in our room that seemed nice but shabby.
