Very good experience at AS Hotel Monza
Very good experience at AS Hotel Monza; very friendly staff at the reception, clean room and bathroom, well equipped. Very good breakfast (fresh fruit, yogurt, home-made cake, warm stuff), the only thing I could complain about is the coffee, quite bad as obtained from a machine for breakfast. Tea was the alternative.

Air Conditioning poor or nothing. some room running but mine did not run at all. Reception did not explain or tried to satisfay at all.

Unfortunately during his stay the system had already been reversed in the winter season ....., while this year in October there were abnormal temperatures compared to last year.A cordial greeting from the As Monza Staff

Just passing through I. My way back to Munich for Modena. Great room for the price. Bathrooms are very nice. Has all the amenities you need. Nothing special. But totally adequate.

Asked for non smoking room but when I arrived room smelled badly of smoke and ashtray beside bed. Opened window to find hundreds of cigarette butts in window box. Asked to be moved and told they would put fresh sheets on bed and open window. Insisted I was moved. New room also had ash tray, smell and butts outside. Fire extinguisher in hall way being used to hold vacuum cleaner hose, wrapped around it each night

Stay was ok. Room was ok. Restraunt was excellent. Hotel itself was not to the picture on the net. Work being carried out inside the motel, so ceilings were down. Wifi was very poor, hit and miss

If prostitution is your scene, stay here!
This hotels primary function appears to be a venue local prosititutes to conduct business, of which we saw many when arriving at the hotel. From the drive through style check-in with advertised tarrifs by the hour, the lubricant supplied in the room, the incredibly large mirrors surrounding the bed so one can see themselves 'perform', the heavy duty almost plastic like mattress protectors and the several hardcore pornography channels available on the television - the hotel clearly know their usual clientele. If all the above mentioned things take your fancy or if hearing the ladies of the night come and go all through the night - this is the place for you! The staff were friendly and the room appeared clean although I fear possible blindness from the glow if one was to turn on a blacklight in the room.

Its a nice hotel, but access is terrible.
The hotel room is clean and spacious, the food is good, but as a tourist, I found the access to public transport quite terrible. Even a taxi has to be ordered and have to wait for 20 minutes or more and the charges are high because of the distance. I was using this hotel to attend the fair at Rho Fiera, but it doesn't even have good access to the Metro station and it was ending up quite expensive to reach the Metro by Taxi everyday. Otherwise, the staffs are very polite and friendly, the room was clean and otherwise everything else met my expectations.

More motel than hotel.
A pleasant enough place, but more of a motel than a hotel. Set just off a main two lane road , it is quiet enough, but as I had not hired a car it was not really for me. My fault for not doing better research. No where near any public transport, and as I had gone for recent Italian golf open I made the mistake of taking a taxi , to the tune of over 40 euros, and a similar amount to return . First and last. Fair walk to a bus stop and two buses to get to within 10 minutes of golf course. No facilities to shout about despite 4 stars, really is just a posh motel

Ideal for a night
Very clean and tidy hotel, ideal for a night or two. I arrived very late and left early so difficult for me to give it a rounded rating The only downside was the bed was unbelievably hard

Very well located for the Monza circuit.
Only two criticisms - the ground floor rooms are dark even with the blinds open. The plastic drinking glasses were nasty.

The hotel was a little tricky to find, because we were looking for a "hotel" but on top of it you see "MOTEL" ... only when we passed it, we saw that on the other side it said "HOTEL". It's kinda like a hotel for taking hookers there, with a big mirror on the wall to se yourself in bed. The bathroom was nice and clean, the room also. Overall, it was ok.

Much more than expected
Not the greatest location but very comfortable. We were there for the Italian Grand Prix and the staff helped us immensely with transportation to and from the race. The pictures posted online do not give an accurate description. I upgraded to the suite and it was really, really nice and spacious. Staff spoke great English and helped with everything we needed. Will definately stay there again if I ever return.

Simple Hotel, great restaurant, wifi, parking
Not a luxurious hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but clean, friendly, free easy parking, free wifi that works all over the hotel and doesn't log you out. The restaurant didn't look amazing, but the food was excellent, some of the best pasta I've ever had., breakfast was included and was also pretty good. The hotel is not in the centre of Monza, but a good base to head out in the car, I was working so didn't walk into town, so not sure how long this would have taken. Only gripe would be I asked for non smoking and the room was a smoking one with a bit of an oder.

Good hotel but not child friendly
Room was good, staff generally helpful and spoke good English. Difficult to find due to roadworks, but not the hotel's fault. Not very child friendly - we'd booked for 2 adults and 1 child but were given just 1 double bed and told children under 5 share a bed with their parents; an extra bed cost 20 euros per night (not mentioned when we booked), plus when flicking through TV channels to find a cartoon for our child to watch (at 10am) we came across 2 hardcore porn channels - not very appropriate!

Short business visit
rating for location is low simply because of all the roadworks and the challenge to get to the hotel. my stay was for literally 7 hours but would love to go back and enjoy the fabulous facilities.

Staff went above and beyond to help and advise us on travel to and from the hotel and the monza track. Also hotel arranged taxi services to track. Highly recommend the restaurant as well. The food was reasonably priced and of a very high quality.

The hotel has dark timber and burgandy carpet and blinds which gives it dated feel but everything was clean and tidy. Hotel staff went out of their way to help. Food was good although restaurant staff were a little aloof.

Great hotel for overnight stay
We found the hotel did not cater for tourists nor for anyone without a car. We were given the wrong room on arrival although it was changed fairly quickly. We were told that all the buses were cancelled due to road works and so either had to pay 18 euros for a taxi each way to get into Monza or walk for an hour each way! There was only one member of staff (receptionist during the day) who was friendly and made conversation with us. There was no facitily for a meal apart from breakfast, which was very good. There was nowhere to spend the evening or to have a drink in the evening. The room did not have tea/coffee facilities and the tv channels were not as stated on the list in the room.

Great hotel
The hotel was fabulous, breakfasts were amazing. I ate in the restaurant one night but I didn't think this was as good as the breakfast. There are major roadworks going on surrounding the hotel which made access very difficult - but that isn't the hotel's fault. Overall, I couldn't fault the hotel and would definitely reccomend it.

this is a very nice hotel with a great staff. It is not located in milan but in monza, It is 30-45 euro cab ride to get there. I tried to take a cab to the train station. In Italy if you call a cab the meter starts where they are at. it was 28E to get to the train station. the ride from the train station was 18E. The shuttle to the airport was 95E. If I had known all this I would have stayed in a much more expensive hotel in the heart of millan. Hotel is clean with a great staff but not a good option if you do not have a car.

Hotel Monza 2011
Due to the huge road improvement scheme the Hotel Monza isnt easy to access and going anywhere on foot is near on impossible. The hotel itself is fine, very clean and comfortable. This hotel would not suit every client as some of the short term nocturnal guests are not to everyone's tastes.

this is located very far from the city center of Monza. If you are staying there you must have a car to access the city and you could not walk around the local area of the hotel--it is a highway. Also, these rooms have doors that open to the inside hallway as well as a door in the room opening to the back parking lot. When i checked in the back door was unlocked so anyone could enter. When I left for dinner I locked the door but it was open again when I returned. Although the room was paid, I immediately checked out and located a room in the city center. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone without a car or for women traveling alone.

Lacks atmosphere, but generally satisfied.
"Motel" set-up will suit some, but undermines atmosphere. Motor racing theme pervades, with great pictures in the corridor. Rooms small but well equipped and clean. Didn't like the ever-present perfumed polish (and a busy road outside discourages opening windows). Wouldn't be our first choice, but not bad for a night or two.

After a few stressful days because of relocation I finally arrived at this hotel and must say was delighted with both the staff and hotel. Would recommend it highly for everyone
