"First Time NewYork visitors"
The hotel staff and most New Yorkers were very helpful, loved the hotel. We were right in the heart of everything, within walking distance to theater ,Times Square,Rockefeller center. Did good on subway, went from 50th to Ferry( I-train),next to hotel. We took ferry across,go to right side when boarding and left coming back.Doughnut place right there next to hotel(right) where subway entrance for I train is,saved us on hotels breakfast prices$$$. Vendor food was pretty good and good priced. Everything is pricey! Little Italy was good,we ate at place to right of Little Italy sign above, outside tables. Make sure you go to 9 -11 memorial, they did a great job!!! We spent 2 hrs just walking and reading,no tour. We were there 2hrs +,well worth it. We also did Uber rides, usually there in 5 min, gives you drivers name and make of car, download app,no money exchanged, don't have to tip,get in get out! if you wanna throw them a few bucks thats cool.Someone told me they grade you on if you tip,but really they get paid by time and distance,so why wouldn't they pick you up. I tipped them a few bucks, just cause it saved me walking blocks and blocks with so many people, they deal with crazy traffic too!
