Tried to upsell me at reception. Also, attempted several times to say bfast was not included. Including during bfast with my colleagues. Quite unprofessional & inappropriate. My reservation included Full Breakfast. Disappointed in the staff.

Some of the staff were friendly, beautiful hotel inside and out! The spa and pool area is lovely and very clean. The bedroom was ok, but for a 5 star hotel, I have seen better. The decor did not blow us away and the bed was like a board. I barely slept and could hardly walk the next day. I did mention the bed to the receptionist when I checked out and his reply was "thank you for letting us know". No idea what this means or what I expected... One thing I will say is that the breakfast was delicious! Try to go when it's quiet as it gets very busy and it's quite cramped. The amount of times I was stood with for food with my plate as things were running out / missing. I felt like a nuisance to be honest as the lady I was asking was not the warmest. Would I rush back? No Would I return? Maybe...

Very clean hotel, lovely staff. Amenities good, location petfect. However breakfast wasn't nice. Would definitely stay again, just wouldn't pay the extra for the breakfast available in the hotel.

I had high expectations before attending this hotel due to the reviews on google and expedia. I paid £200 per night due to last minute booking. For a £200 a night hotel it was actually giving £80 a night service. Check in was easy. The rooms are average. I was in room 703 and the carpet was peeling off( see photo). Bed nice and comfy and bathroom came with a bath tub and shower which was really good. However, at check-in I was asked if I wanted breakfast to be added to the booking, which was £21.50 but £29 if I decided to add it at a later stage. Choose to add it to the booking but when going down for breakfast, you have to wait for a table to have breakfast. I waited almost 30 mins for a table to become available. Bearing in mind if you have a train or flight to catch this can cause delays. It seems like they over advertise on breakfast but don't even have the space or facilities to host all guest. In addition, room service is not the best. Food is average and they also charge a tray charge on top of service charge. All fine by me but I insisted having a receipt to confirm my order before paying and the gentleman insisted I paid first before having a receipt???? Weird vibes to me but I was not happy with this concept and ruined my experience. If your looking for 5* your better off going to the stock exchange hotel, Dakota or Lowry. Also the complimentary access to the spa is not really complimentary as you have to pre book an hour slot in advance and if you don’t you lose

Overall a good hotel. Good location from which to explore Manchester. I was disappointed with the check-in experience and believe staff training could rectify that problem. The room included everything that was needed however decor could be improved.

The hotel was lovely and the staff that checked us in was great . The only issues we had was I booked 3 rooms which stated double or 2 singles , I requested for twin beds. When one of the room arrived they were given a double which we thought ok that’s fine , not the end of the world , so I rang in the morning to make sure the next two rooms will be twins , I was told there was only one twin room available , which we accepted and just put up with the other as a double . But when we arrived both rooms were doubles and to make it worst when we went to check in for the last room it was not ready on time and instead we had to have an accessible room which we had to accept as we were going somewhere and had to get ready . Apart from this the rooms and amenities were actually perfect .

Well l am disappointed as I was provided with a room with a construction site right opposite and then when we asked to use the Spa it was allowed to be used if we booked on previously and the session would be one hour per booking . We have used this hotel many times before and this has never been the issue before. It was not a good experience this time, as it was a mother an ld daughter getaway I booked for.

We enjoyed our stay with Edwardian mostly. However was a little disappointed with the level of detail in that there were holes in a number of things in the room.. literally! Which surprised me for a 5* venue. The room was clean, staff were friendly and gym/swimming area were lovely but unfortunately we were only allowed an hour in the facilities.

Excellent hotel,in a great location. However. Wasn’t told breakfast was not part of my booking either at check in or even when we went for breakfast. Beautiful hotel - a combination of a gorgeous old building and a new, well designed section which houses the rooms. Pretty flawless in terms of comfort. I dropped a few stars for service since as a 5* hotel it’s disappointing for the bar to close at 11pm and the pool and gym to be closed out by 8pm. It’s a small thing yet for anyone arriving or working late it’s something to be aware of. That said, I’d stay again in a flash.

We have been staying in this hotel for almost 16/17 years. As repeat guests we absolutely love this hotel. Location is perfect and the staff are amazing - special mention to Gary in concierge who always goes above and beyond to ensure our stay is perfect. Always recommending good bars and restaurants. Gary and the team are head and shoulders above other hotels in Manchester City centre. Trust me- we have stayed in most of them but the Radisson Edwardian is the only one for us.

Amazing property and stay. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because there was no hairdryer in the room or slippers with the robes so when we went to the spa we had to walk barefoot. Housekeeping didn’t answer the phone to get any either , but would definitely recommend
