We liked that the location was near a few places to eat, but not at a location that was loud and busy. We also liked that the side doors were accessable without having to go through the front entrance every time we entered/left the building, and that your key was a requirement for entry through the side doors. This was a great security feature.

The hotel was very clean and up to date with very nice furnishings in the rooms. Staff was efficient and speedy, the fact that there wasn't a restaurant didn't bother me - plenty of places to eat in Newport and Applebee's is next door. Two minor complaints - only three pull out bins in the dresser for clothes besides the armoire, but it was enough for a weekend. And most of the complimentary breakfast was just fine but the scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes were awful. There's bagels, muffins, and oatmeal and the waffle station is great.

I have never felt so welcome with fresh warm cookies, coffee, tea 24/7. On one afternoon they even hosted a " social" with drinks, nachos, something for the whole family.
