I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked a 2 double bed room a month in advance. The day I arrive there the person at check in told me that there was supposedly a leak in the wall (excuse??) and we need to be switched to a different room (a 1 bedroom suite with a sofa bed). Apparently they were sold out that night. We are a family of 4 (2 kids). This suite room is horribly inconvenient, extremely uncomfortable and also was right next to the elevator. The person at the front desk told me to come down in the morning and speak to the manager because they will take care of me because of the switch, he said it 3 times. So in the morning, I going down and speak to the manager and tell him that I was told that I would be taken care of because of the switch. He tells me that he would forward an email to the DM about the situation and they would be in contact with expedia. It has been almost 2 months and haven’t heard anything or received any compensation for the horrible experience even though they insisted that I would. Been to many hotels and this is by far the worst experience my family and I have had. Not sure why there are so many great reviews, it is deceiving to say the least.

This hotel is reasonably priced and close to the activities and places we were going. The room is spacious, comfortable beds, good vanity and storage. The fridge and safe were helpful and the breakfast was good. What we don't like is they only have one very slow elevator, ridiculous! The shower water pressure is very weak, despite a good, strong stream from the faucet below. The housekeeper forgot to put a box of kleenex in the dispenser.

I stayed here for a night years ago when I interviewed for a job in Miami and was favorably impressed. When we were getting ready to move out of our home a few miles away, we put our dad up here for a week to hell with home renovations and later spent 4 nights here while we had our home cleaned and put on the market. The staff was mostly polite (by Miami standards…really polite, lol). The place was ok looking, but there was visible water damage, bad painting and repair work and it just looked a bit more run down. We upgraded to a suite after one night so we could enjoy the lake view of Town & Country before leaving town. Even in the suite, the room was a bit cramped. We found a palmetto bug in our room, which again is par for the course in Miami. The food was adequate, but not impressive. The parking was great, however and access to the walking bridge and food/shopping at Town & Country was wonderful. The single most annoying issue was the fact that the key cards kept de-magnetizing if they were remotely near a cell phone. They badly need to change their NFC keys to prevent guests from getting locked out at all hours—happened to us 3 times and tour neighbors at least once.

I really liked the updated furniture in the room. Nice breakfast selections. Everything was very clean. Parking spaces were kind of tight and sound carried quite well down the hallway and into the room. So if people came back late from a night out, you could definitely hear them. Good value for the money in a great location.

I absolutely love that the rooms do not have carpets. The rooms are quite large with comfortable beds. Tub is a bit small amd narrow, but was clean and the hot water was awesome!
