4 star hotel? Not!

Posted 12-Jan-2018
Pros: It's location.
Cons: Service, room service and amenities.
Location: yelp
Front desk service is mediocre at best. The pools were closed. Room had minibar spot, but was missing the actual fridge. Blinds couldn't be open. Bathroom missed 4 star hotel toiletries, no slippers or robes. We asked if late checkout was available and were advised to wake up after 7AM and check with that shift. For two of the morning we stayed there we were woken up by the maids because "they didn't see the do not disturb sign posted on the door". It's somewhat of an enjoyable stay close to everything, but this is not a 4 star hotel.

Cons: pool area. one of the pools was half filled with dirty stagnating water
Location: Great location. However, all restaurants around are horrendous tourist traps. Only the 11th street diner is barely acceptable.
OK hotel. Great location, close to the beach. The hotel has an agreement with the beach on 10th steel, you give your room # and you get a free lounger on the beach, which is great.

I'm a college student. You get what u pay for.

Posted 27-Dec-2017
One night during the trip my room was playing music very loudly, and apparently a hotel staff member was knocking on the door to tell us to lower the music. Of course we did not hear him knocking on the door. Instead Of the staff calling our room to notify us of a noise complaint, the staff member decided to enter the room without an invitation. Privacy was definitely violated. This ruined my hotel experience completely that night. You get what you pay for with this hotel. The hotel is not updated at all. The hotel was not dirty but just needed a lot of remodeling and repairs. I'm a broke college student so I was settling for very low prices which meant low standards for my stay in Miami. If I were with my family, this hotel would be a disgusting mess and we would have not stay there. I was also pretty drunk most of the time that hotel so there's probably a lot of nasty things I didn't see. In conclusion, staying at this hotel is valid if your broke trying have fun and be really drunk in Miami.

Dear Guest, The front desk staff did call you to your room. If you didn't hear the knocking on the door, you probably didn't hear the phone either. If the staff member, who had no choice but to open your door completely, ruined your experience, please imagine how your loud music (that got your neighboring guests calling our front desk with complaints) might have completely ruined theirs! We hope you read your comments in a few years, when you're older, and realize how your actions disturbed the peace of our quiet, family friendly hotel. Best regards.

Affordable central location

Overall would come again. Pros: Excellent staff, location, beautiful lobby with tea/coffee/cold water all day. Spacious room (king with sofa bed- initially a small queen room was given which wasn't what we paid for but that was quickly corrected on arrival when told). Comfortable, clean bed, hot rain shower. Cons: pool needs a revamp (1 seemed broken, the spa wasn't heated so just a normal pool. Thin walls, or we were extremely unlucky with loud neighbours. Had to call security and had to knock on neighbours door on more than 1 occasion due to loud noise past 3am on a weekday. Between that, the street noise, and the extremely loud AC unit very little sleep was had overall. Beach chairs are included in the hotel resort fee but an umbrella is an extra 20$/day.

Great location in Miami Beach.

Posted 21-Dec-2017
Pros: Location, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Refrigerators should be installed in rooms.
Location: Close to beach, Lincoln Mall and night life.
We got a free room upgrade at check in due to hotel staff mix up. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Hotel is very well located.

Amazing hotel in the middle of it all!

Posted 20-Dec-2017
Our hotel experience was incredible! We were in the middle of everything. From our hotel we would walk 2 blocks towards the beach, the shopping centers, and the parks or drive a few minutes towards some of Miami's other popular destinations. Our hotel was a mini escape from the nightlife for a quick nap or refresher. The hotel was kept pristine from the lobby to the room. The staff were friendly and eager to point us towards places of fun and adventure.

Nice hotel, close to the beach, great location

Posted 12-Nov-2017
Pros: location.
Cons: Hot water
Location: you are in South beach, tons to do
We had a great stay and enjoyed our time. We found out the final morning that we could get free beach chairs which would have been good to know. Location was great, the staff was excellent, only things i would have liked to see would have been to have a fridge in the room and the hot water in the shower was very weak. Great place, I would go back again
